I was supposed to be Jan ‘23! Now I’m November

 

Still waiting on confirmation that my PTS build is accepted as a 2024 car. Has anyone submitted a recent build with PTS that was accepted?

 

Just found out yesterday my Dec build was pushed to February with a late March/early April delivery

 

Yeah, I'm not sure as I checked nearly all the boxes I could. PTS, WP, PCCB in blk, Ext Fuel, LWB, extended Race tex visor etc., Front axle lift, LED Matrix, BOSE...

 

Yes. September build in Acid Green/WP/PCCB.... late November delivery.

Edit: My order was confirmed back in April with Porsche, but have had my allocation and Commission # since late Feb. For what it's worth my dealer originally put my order in last September, but finally confirmed this year. I'm sure there were delays in there.

 

Just signed the CXX contract today. with a PTS slot for a mid October build date The deadline for CXX is June 26th. Without CXX, my freeze date was 9/11. Without CXX, the build was $335,000 Now, let the wait begin and hope there are no delays, stop sales or burning ships..

 

Wonder how many of us 23' Confirmed Orders got pushed to 2024 MY? I was Feb/Mar MY23 build for May 23' delivery. Now July/Aug MY24 Build for Sept 23' delivery. Until I lock eyes on the actual car, not buying anything these days.

 

Any idea CJ how many of us with MY23 confirmed orders got pushed to MY24? I know there was 6 of us in the US NE Region per the Regional.

 

how does one go about getting cxx options? Only possible on gt3rs? I asked about it for a turbo and was told almost impossible.

 

That delay seems pretty extreme. Did they have a detailed explanation?
None for mine.

Mine did. 2024 but August delivery. Must be one of the first 2024's.

 

So that's 20-30 cars... OR 40-60....

Seemingly enough even the biggest dealers are only getting handfuls of spots it'd be interesting to see what has a higher production run #s for a non numbered car.... the Gen 5 Viper ACR or 992 3RS lol.

 

it was mostly my fault. I asked to take a later built slot due to part shortage (no PCCB, Bose, leather accents, etc.) ended up locking into a march build slot. Then my order randomly disappeared and later resurfaced as an October build slot.

good news is I got PTS. But no explanation, it just poof disappeared.

 

I talked with western US CXX rep. She told me they only do 18 CXX orders a month nationwide. They only do CXX on 911s, 718s and Taycans. Perhaps GT3RS get priority..
