The RS, the GT3, and everything else they are making seems to be well oversubscribed. As always, we have the 'hope' that we will get a certain amount of initial allocations, but it's always less. I do not see this changing anytime soon, so we might as well enjoy what we have in the garage, or find suitable alternatives.

Drive it like you stole it got it at msrp, have fun, don't check RL so often
I sure drive it like I stole it... the new truck... goes everywhere, thank YOU.
I have to visit RL to post food and latte.
I no longer share real car info hahahah

Got the call for an 992 rs allocation! I was promised back in May the next gt3 allocation they get but the next one he got was the rs guess that will suffice! Just hoping production will go as scheduled and not have any delays like the 3 has had

All 918 guys snapped them up. I’ve pressed but no luck, they’re gone. Europe (and assume other RoW markets too) will be able to get it starting summer. Haven’t heard an accurate number as to the global cap but it won’t be many.

If I had known that buying a $1 million car that gains in value would give me first dibs on getting other cars that also gain in value, I would have bought that car, even though I'm not really in the VIP financial category.

Isn't that a classic case of scared money? I think we can all remember our emotions during the two weeks leading to March 15, 2020 if you had anything in the markets. Scared money kept people from buying the dip, but when you look back, you would have borrowed every dollar you could to go ***** deep on March 23, 2020.

At least with the benefit of some hindsight, I look at buying the 918 as less risky than the stock market.

My only regret was not buying more. I didn't believe it would bounce back that fast. Story of my life. Cars are play money and I have never thought about resale value when I purchase one as the driving fun factor is all that counts.

Tribute package is for US market only.

Well, back in April 2020 we bought so much CCL stock (Carnival Cruise) that we nearly triggered 13D reporting requirements.

And look at where it got us, now some 2.5 years later? Nada (actually less than nada).

And I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Just pointing out that sometimes hindsight is not always right.
