There are no allocations in the US yet. I think he meant that his dealer "promised" him one. He is just sharing his build.

All these discussions of deposits and promises brings back fond memories: https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/f...stole-clients/

Dealer dont care, bottom line is all that matters at the end of the day, dont take it personal.

They got me a 991 Touring, 718 Spyder and 992 Touring. I have no reason to doubt them at this point.

Once your order is officially in the system with Porsche you’ll be able to see it in your customer portal on the Porsche website.

Mine is showing up as the order being received. Porsche update it as it moves through the production cycle.

I want to to mess with you and tell you that someone got a 3RS order through the US system, but iirc Slip is in Australia.

Hang up the phone to your GSM.

I heard the exact same thing today. I was at my local Porsche dealership today for an event and they said mid to late November.

I'm flying down to my dealer and will see them tomorrow. I'll send them my build for the GT3RS so that I get on the radar screen.

Not sure but I would talk to your Porsche support rep that comes to your races (assuming you race in IMSA/SRO/Carrera Cup etc).

If you race in a pro level series I believe they will help you out.

BMW has a really great contingency program. I’ll leave it at that.

~$570K car

~$40k air freight
total was around $820K before tax and a lot more parts/consumables. Then operating costs of ~$3MM for the year.

Racing at 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, and full 12 race season...priceless.

FWIW most manu's offer allocations if you race in a pro level series. Aston just offered me a Valhalla allocation for racing the Aston GT4 and winning the championship. Ford gave me a Ford GT allocation when I raced the Ford GT4 in IMSA.
