Thanks. I am in no rush so I am ok if they shift my build schedule. I don't know why I would pay $365k before taxes on a car with a boring color that I don't want. Maybe it will get shifted far enough away that my European Delivery will be in warmer weather instead of the dead of winter. I was planning on driving to Warsaw Poland too. lol.

 

My original november build slot just passed the freeze point with no notification. I guess no PTS was accepted here - no other dates are scheduled on TYD

My car isn't even in TYD yet and I can't add the commission number either. I'm not sure how you guys got freeze dates while still waiting for PTS approval.

 

No notification on my end either. Only found out the freeze point passed and was over a month earlier than expected after I opened the Porsche App.

Not sure for PTS but I had to reach out to my SA to help get it loaded. They have more details on the status and future checkpoint ETA's. However none of the estimated dated he showed from their internal system showed up in my TYD. TYD is basically just logging the completion dates as they occur.

Actual completion dates were pretty accurate to the estimate though !

 

I just called my dealership. I got PTS approved for Gulf Blue but the build month had to be shifted from October to January. I'm good with that! I might get the last purely naturally aspirated RS ever built.

A family member's 3RS (non-PTS) was just built in 6 days. Just a data point for the thread.

 

My timeline:
Ordered: Jun 11, 2024
Change Freeze Point: Sept 4, 2024
Manufacturing process starting soon: Sept 18, 2024
Non PTS, was told delivery before Christmas (hopefully)

 

Nice! Congrats! My wife's 4RS was slotted for a Dec/Jan build with a PTS request that had been in limbo for almost three months. Just got notification today that they denied the request and moved production up to October. Oh well, can't win them all. I didn't even try with my 3RS as I've heard it wouldn't happen, so now it's just made it to the port and I'll enjoy it regardless. Can't complain considering the luck of landing a 3RS and 4RS back to back.
January will be here before you know it.

 

This is really weird, I got 2 production photos of my RS on my TYD but it still hasn't finished being built yet.
