GT3RS Allocation Thread
#106
Just for the heck of it called a few dealers in AZ, CO, TX, NM, and CA and asked how big their wait list was, and also if they had available allocations, and if there is ADM. Just got one email back from Porsche Bakersfield and they have 1 allocation and want $175k ADM 😂😂. So let me get this straight, a moderately spec'd out GT3RS is about $300k give or take, plus $175k ADM on top of that, so $475k total. I don't know about you, but if I am paying $475k for a vehicle, it is for darn sure not going to be a measly 518hp GT3RS haha. Porsche and their network of dealers have lost their freaking minds. My 765LT has an MSRP of $408k and would absolutely MURDER a GT3RS in every single category and in every single way for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I want whatever Porsche and its dealers are smoking, because they are high as a kite. Porsche is losing a lot of customers, myself included, because of this out of control pricing. Shoot even at $300k without ADM that is still way too high! To all the people buying a GT3RS, I wish you the best and hope you have many many happy miles of driving I really do. But if I am spending $300k (or 475k including ADM) I am buying a real exotic car, not a sports car that is a wanna be exotic. Here is an example, I have an Artura on order that is loaded with options and it comes out to $280k MSRP, no markup, and is lightyears ahead of a GT3RS technology wise and speed wise. And before people start defending the GT3RS as having things like active aero, adaptive suspension, etc, Mclaren has been doing this since the mp4-12c came out 12 years ago haha.

Sounds like a brilliant use of your time. Almost as good as sharing your efforts here.
I now understand better why the 765 drivers can’t beat my GT3 on track when the car has so much more HP.

So, you thought $300k was too much without ADM but still wasted your time calling around to see what kind of ADM they were asking.

Anyone who tracks on a regular basis knows how good the winged P cars are. Put a decent driver behind the wheel and they dominate a large majority of the field. I loved my 991.2 RS and often regret selling it. The 765 is an amazing car but take both cars (991.2 RS) with the same pro driver and the LT will be faster... Unless it's a short technical track it might be close
