First input to RL, for some time been lurking round for info and ideas, mainly to classic 911’s which is where my deeper passion is, but also have some newer RS’s, Ferraris and race cars.

Wonder why the delays continue, my new 3RS was early delivery Dec22. Endless delays with no feedback to why, eventually got the car mid May. My dealer is super diligent and attentive, but with no feedback from AG, it was difficult for them not to upset customers.

As far as I know, all EUR dealers have no more slots for 2023/24. If production ends 24, lots of potential customers will miss out.

Shame if they don’t build more cars

It’s a mega track-day car, as road car the focused track ability let’s it down, wouldn’t use it for a road tour.

At least for the PL market, there should be new allocations for 2024. And yes - there are better cars for road tours than the GT3 RS

All the other 3RS are to me fine for road tours, done loads all over EUR and enjoyed all of them. My 992 will never be used for a road tour, it’s outright uncomfortable, really is a race car in disguise. You can play with a 991 Cup on track, same driver skill level, they are even. Slicks vs semis, the aero makes up for tire delta. It is a shockingly good track-day car, less so a road car

I hear from a reliable source that the 3RS will be in production till half 2025…maybe something can change, but “this is” at least for now.
then 3RS mk2 end 2025/early 2026.

In Italy dealers are waiting allocation for 2024(mine enclosed),and seems more PTS available.

I wouldn't be surprised if they keep building into 2025. Build baby build!

Hello,

Would anyone here know of a 992 GT3RS for sale or have one that could possibly be available? Message if so. Thank you.

I’ll ask this question again: has Porsche ever had two 911 chassis models under production simultaneously? For example, did they ever produce 991.1 cars at the same time as 991.2 cars?

I think that's the usual situation with the GT2 RS.

I highly doubt there will be 992.2 3RS

Wrong, Porsche likes making money too much not to build a .2GT3RS.

What do you base this opinion on? Is it legislation?

It’s based on many things, most of which have been discussed in many threads.

With respect, that’s a word salad. You can do better than that.
