Anybody here with their GT3RS delayed in production? Mine has been in production since June 4 and it is still currently stuck in the production phase

Mine entered production on schedule 9/7, supposed to be done 9/21. What does your dealer say? Any special options on your car?

my cars’ freeze point was Sept 8, but keeps moving day by day… ETA dealer actually moved a day earlier to Nov 10, 23.

Like you having also just picked up my GT4 RS, on ED and driving it at 3 different tracks overseas, I question the need to spend so much on my 3RS. It’s at MSRP, so I know I am insane to cancel at this last moment, but the 4RS was so much fun. Unlike all my other GT Cars it was unique in that it was just as much fun on the street as it was on the track, it’s a rare car that allows one to do both and honestly enjoy it. Most GT3 cars are boring as hell around town because you have to be going at illegal speeds to uncork and enjoy the car. Is the 992 GT3 better on track? Absolutely, no contest. But the 4RS is more fun, not just because of the noise but because you have to work to extract the speed. And while the other GT cars become boring on the drive home, the 4RS maintains it’s hilarious raucous character. So it has me questioning the point of the 3RS when my 4RS can do both.

I tracked my 991.2 GT3RS and my 981/718 GT4s and enjoyed tracking the GT4s more than the GT3RS hence why the #1 GT that I wanted most of the GT3/GT3RS/GT4RS was the GT4RS. I totally agree with you that the GT4RS is so much fun to drive around town and can't wait to go track it this fall/winter. If I end up getting a GT3RS at MSRP later on great and I'll take it but if not it's fine too because it'll give me the opportunity to scratch my Ferrari itch. I'll make that decision once the GT3RS production is over.

Nothing special. Just the Tribute RS package.

Now THAT’S a humblebrag. 😆

not much different between an RS Weissach and the tribute except the graphics? Maybe they are batching those up for paint or something, they were the first out originally…

Point well made. I think it’s fun as long as you understand it’s meaningless.

Still have one dealer with an allocation left. January build, they're pretty firm at 140k over. I brought them offers at 100k already and they passed.

Yup, wait until they release the 992.2 GT3 a few years and people know a better NA 992.2 GT3RS is coming. It'll be a repeat of what happened to the 991.1 GT3RS pricing. We just have to cycle through the posers, the C&C showoffs, flippers, and IGers/YouTubers first.
