I was offered an RS allocation today for $150k or a PTS.2 allocation when it comes in for $75k when I bought a 22 winger car. I am hoping I move this 22 and will decide if I want to go to the .2PTS with my spec. I have always wanted to spec my own so considering doing it when the time comes.
Great spec, I really like the purple with the silver wheels + livery. One suggestion: consider doing the chronometer in Yellow. White is perfect for the tach
I'm officially PTS V215 with January build/ late February delivery. Freezes 12/1, but being V215 it's fully locked by PAG as noted "locked materials ordered.".

What an awful spec too.... I cannot believe people overpay for these things just to go through the hassle of flipping them. If you have enough money to overpay for a GT3/RS, you shouldn't be looking to profit from it. Let alone immediately after buying it. My .02.

Has been that way for a decade almost now - it is what it is. Sure it would be nice to see these at MSRP and trading near or below used, but Porsche is better at marketing than us as consumers and are navigating it well.

Porsche doesn’t need to market the gt3rs that car speaks for it self in spades …… best car I have ever owned and by far the most fun …. Imo it’s worth the asking price and more …

Thats not the point (ie. marketing itself), we all agree with your statement and therefor why the car sells for the price it does.
They have done this to perfection since the 997's were new as the 997 GT3/RS's were not as difficult to get as the new GT3 RS is currently. And they are building far more than they did of the 997 generation. Porsche have built an excellent product, and built the demand for years now.

Spec could be a lot worse. Looks better spec'd than many RS I see. Though the wheel color is not fantastic IMO...
