If the transaction is going to keep you up at night, and it sounds like it will otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question, then it's not worth it.

For some, extra couple of hundred grand is basically about as precious as ice cubes in Alaska, and doing this swap would be a no brainer.

For others, even an extra 10k is back breaking stuff, and doing this swap would be, as you say, "insane."

Just depends on what camp you're in.

And, really, has nothing to do with how good the GT3 RS is or how it is "worth".

Amazing how much people are willing to pay up for a slightly better car.

Good thing SD has those 15-20 minute sessions.
After about 40 track days my Bmw m4 only went into into limp mode one time. Once I went to performance friction or EBC blue stuff, my fluid would boil and I would have the pedal to the floor, pumping the brakes would get me the pedal back for some reason LOL. But, I went to castrol SRF racing after that and never boiled my brakes again

Your dealer sounds a little greedy, dare I say stealership Just give us back your GT3, and then we'll allow you the opportunity to buy our 300k top end model they'll make 20% margin on if you pay us another 120k on top.

A good dealer, (like mine) will tell you to just wait if the money means anything to you. To their defense the greedy owner will get mad at them if they don't extract every last dollar out of the customer as they must believe these adm's are a flash in the pan (rightfully so imo)

I would just have fun with your gt3 for now and wait 6-12 months as things settle down. December/January are historically very favorable for pricing in my experience, you should at least wait until then.

Unless of course your the cliche rennlist user with unlimited funds and cash burning a hole in your pocket lol

The GT3RS, 911 ST are way more limited than one would hope; the wait lists are 5 + years.

We can help secure them but we won’t know the market in the future. For now, we have ability to help deliver most cars within 6 months or less.

What are you talking about GT3RSs being limited? They'll build more 992.1 GT3RSs than they did 991.2 GT3RSs, that'll be a fact.

Sound advice. They were originally asking $200K over and they've since come down a lot. I told them yesterday that while the value might be there, I don't appreciate the fact that they're trying to squeeze every dollar out of this deal...make a little more money and never do another deal with the customer. Stupid

In that case it is not an outrageous deal. Especially if you are in a state that gives you a tax credit for your trade.

You can always counter with the amount of ADM that is acceptable to you.

apologies if this was answered

I heard 10/2 Porsche will release more RS allocations for the NA market--is this accurate?

Just got an email. I turned down an allocation a few months back because there was not PTS or PCCB. Just got my allocation again today but store wants my build by end of day. YIKES.
