I have info from my dealer re: when I expect to get an allocation but I don’t want to start an argument about who’s GM is right and wrong - that’s a dead end.
Play out the logic - is there any scenario that they would cut off the 3RS now that makes any sense at all for a profit oriented enterprise?
Really - if it means I don’t get one then so be it. It makes zero sense that they would do that vs extending the run. They need to make more of these cars to hit return numbers to payback on design, investment in capital at factories, marketing etc; they would sooner run for another two three years to make the numbers work than cut it off now and lose money.

I don't think anyone knows for sure, PAG included.
PAG may intend to produce (or not produce) more GT3 RS cars, but there are things that may arise that are (1) unexpected or (2) not forecasted correct or (3) both.
So, at this point, who knows.
If you get an allocation, take it.
If you are waiting and don't, move on.
Life is bigger than a GT car.

Was told that Porsche is really struggling to obtain the carbon parts for 3 RS and orders falling behind as result. To fill the gap Porsche plans on releasing more GT3 allocations soon. But like all dealer discussions who knows! I will say that my stripper 3RS order lock date did move up quite a bit recently however, so might be due to lack of WP?

I've heard the same, shortage on rear wings, CF parts, brakes, and few body panels.

this circus of misinformation gets tiring
we all understand supply constraints related to Covid and the war in Ukraine
but it seems that Porsche PAG is enjoying playing the games of shortages so it increases demand on their cars
one dealer GM tells you something , another dealer GM tells you the opposite
Classic example : GT3 production
CJ Wilson is on record here that production ends 9/23
GM at two dealers I know say production through the whole MY 2024
who do you believe ?
what is the truth ?
PAG should say for example : we are going to produce GT3 through the whole 24 MY , but numbers might vary because of supply constraints. To me such a statement is much more accurate than the BS we read here and stuff we get told
same should apply to 3 and 4 RS

I'm confident that PCNA/PAG does not tell different GMs different info. Meaning, either the GM does not understand the communication, did not receive the communication, or is misrepresenting the communication. Any of these scenarios results in the same conclusion...you won't know.

Not sure why you think you would be entitled to this type of transparency from PAG/PCNA. Even if you got this information, it would be global and not relevant to your specific situation, i.e., you still may not get a car even if they build it until 2029.

Clarity of information is always better than ambiguity
I can sit with GM at bmw dealer and they can tell me when the next generation M5 which not due for another year
start of production : SOP this Date
end of production: EOP this date
and this is for several years time frame
it is in the interest of the company to be clear so people can plan their purchase
Also according to you only the GMs at Porsche dealers don't understand the communications from PAG , and all other GMs from other brands get the communication from their perspective companies

Porsche build and sold more cars during the Covid lock down times versus 2019 so thinking that they won't build more now that most all of the supply chain issues have cleared up is delusional. Sure some cares had parts that were in shortage (PCCBs, bucket seats, lithium batteries, etc) but they somehow have seemed to have navigated through those speed bumps.
