When I do happen to get lucky and run into a good realtor, I feel very fortunate and the transaction goes as smooth as silk. If only it was as difficult to get a realtors license as it was to get a CPA license, you have a lot less worthless agents out there but alas the realtors associations love collecting realtor dues.

you have bad information. My 2024 left emden over a week ago.

I was hoping it would finally make the boat, original delivery date of 5/26 then delayed a few more times from there. But I guess it’ll get here when it gets here. What was your original date of you don’t mind me asking?

I'm more a reader than poster on the forum but id like to hear some thoughts from fellow RS buyers.

I got a surprise call from my dealer and offered me a 992 3RS allocation for around 35-40k USD over MSRP if I trade in my current 3RS and also get a watch. I haven't been telling my dealer I really wanted the 992.1 3RS since I was clear to them the car I wanted is the 992.2 3RS, pretty far away i know, but that car works better for me time wise, plus I can drive my current RS a bit more then trade for that, so it was surprising to me that they suddenly presented this offer to see if I'd be interested in the 992.1 RS meanwhile...

I have to say I am intrigued by the offer since reading on the forum I always thought the ADM on the RS would be 100kish or higher? I've seen ppl talk about the range anywhere from 0 to even 250k so im pretty lost on how much in reality ppl are getting the car at. Has the ADM dropped everywhere due to economy and more allocations coming out now? I don't usually buy cars with ADM but the offer seem lower than the general ADM so I'm kinda on the fence whether I should pull the trigger on the .1 while waiting for my .2 RS.

Any thoughts or suggestions on whether this is a good deal or I should take it? Any input is appreciated.

it may be easier to get the 992.2 GT3 RS if you have a 992.1 GT3 RS to trade them ;-)

just say'n - and in the mean time you get the current toy…

I'd say that's probably an above average deal. Back in June a broker that I've communicated semi-regularly pinged me about an allocation that was available for a $100k ADM. I think most of the people that are paying ADMs are probably paying around $100k +/- (a little less if they have some kind of dealer relationship and a little more if they don't). I seriously doubt there have been many people who have paid a $200k+ ADM. I remember the ADM on the 991.2 GT3RS started in the $75-$100k range and then was down to $10k-$25k range by the time production was ending.

right the new one would be easier to trade and a big reason im considering the offer is when its time for .2 they might knock down pretty hard on my 991.1 RS value since its gonna be a 10 year old car, right now the used value is holding up fine, don't know how much it'll go down by then. But same with the 992, if I pay over sticker now, when the 992.1 hype goes down in a few years by the time .2 is out, the price would probably go toward more reasonable levels unlike the crazy numbers some ppl are asking now...

If the average is still at 100kish, im leaning to do the deal now plus i got to drive an absolute beast of a car, very very tempting lol. Also thx fellow trojan, fight on

You didn’t say what the trade in offer is. That’s part of the equation.

Well, there are always exceptions to the rule.

In Texas sadly Realtors are some of the laziest most incompetent people that exist as the entry level is so low. Not sure same applies here, but providing support to the hypothesis.
