I'd say she's ready for the full sauce at 900 miles. Let her rip and let us know your thoughts!

This! Yet the oil levels really need to be watched and topped before and real abuse happens. My 3RS and numerous others have had "just enough" oil for break in period. They do a quick test drive after it rolls out the factory for systems check, but not filled with oil properly is goofy.

Interesting. I always do an oil change after break-in mileage just for good measure

This Fall, when I get my own S/T, I'll compare the clutch to my memories of my former Carrera GT. Its clutch was roundly derided as impossible with which to launch. One journalist said it was 3 choices, "Buck, burn out, or stall." I had almost no trouble with mine. Perhaps it was being somewhat used to ceramic puck racing clutches in other cars?

just hit 935 miles 😃 hmmm oil does look low ish. But correct me if I’m wrong do Porsche not fill this way for a reason to allow for expansion when it fully heats up and what not.

what I believe heaven would feel like 🤣

in all honesty could be placebo but I think it’s sounds better than both 992 and 991.2 GT3RS I think would be even better with an aftermarket JCR Titanium exhaust or similar not that it needs it by any means.

also this car is made to be driven 7-9k most of the time as that is where bulk of the torque lies. it’s an ear to ear grinning experience. Actually makes me want to cry that so many of these will never see 1k miles on them. These were meant to be driven hard and fast.

I will find out what it can really do on Sunday on the track. Thinking of doing that oil change first though

Love to hear that. I would suggest an oil change and quick pre track check-up. I already have my first track day set up and my car won't be here for 4-5 months

Looking forward to your impressions after the circuit!

Just remember that optimum level is 3/4, not full (you're close)...

As far as I'm concerned the entire half oil change thing is just mind blowing.

Yep, according to Porsche you are at proper oil
level, which makes me think that when the low yellow light comes on it’s still very much okay.

There are 4 levels within the green zone. The screenshot shows 2/4 and optimum is 3/4. I always keep it at 3/4 by adding just a tad when it gets to 2/4.

I compensate by doing frequent changes (takes just a few minutes if you DIY).

Curious for those with an ST now who had an R, how do they compare? Do you have a favorite?
