Mines in the dealers dungeon. Sat in it yesterday still all covered up. Gear box felt amazing just at idle. Rifle bolt an over used cliche but it’s bang on. Cold blipping it sounded great and revs fall and rise like a ****. A couple of weeks wait now before I get to drive it.

My completion was supposed to be yesterday but just pushed back 2 months to August with October-November delivery. Started production in February and got pictures of the chassis from back then. They are having real problems with these carbon bits….

Whatever exposed carbon pieces anyone has that need to have polished. Seen multiple cars including my 3RS have a slight haze to it.

Can't really blame Porsche as they're in the middle of restructuring their business model.

I know this is off topic, but yes, delays are happening again and again. The people who think the RS will not be affected are wrong. Porsche will sacrifice the RS in order to produce the S/T

Yeah, they better prioritize the ST because they'll **** off the VIPs. And yes delays are still happening but Porsche needs to sell more cars so someone/s in their procurement department needs to be fired for these delays. Why? Because publicly traded!!! I'd be pissed if I was a shareholder with anything that adversely effects revenues and profits.

I've hesitated commenting due to all the bickering but I honestly need advice. In August I ordered a S/T immediately through my dealer. I knew it would take forever but I had other Porsches and used this time to buy and test other 911s. In December I bought a GT3 manual and love it. I can't find anything I would change, and surprisingly even love the wing now. The plan was to give up the GT3 when the S/T comes but now I'm not sure. I drive the GT3 the same as I would the S/T. Mainly on PCA drives and it's perfect. I'm not interested in tracking but I love driving the twisty mountain roads in Southern California. I think I may how gotten caught up in the initial excitement of the uniqueness and exclusivity. I do have a 2019 Speedster which I really enjoy but the fact that it is a limited edition sometimes prevents me from driving it, afraid it is a bit showy. I'm beginning to feel that I should keep the GT3 and let the dealer find.someone else have the shot at the S/T. Any advise would help.

If sticker, take the car. Even if you drive the doors off, you'll probably end up ahead.
