If you have a comm# and a VMS print out and trying to add your number to track your dreams or behind the scenes, you won’t be able to until a VIN is generated.

June build. Still in PTS purgatory but am fairly optimistic. I’m still curious why the U.S. configurator for PTS leaves the front fascia unpainted. Finger, legs, eyes crossed…

same boat. I’m told that PTS is likely if you have not been rejected and waiting a while because porsche has no trouble rejecting and usually does it quickly. So if you are still in limbo, it is a good sign and they are just trying to slot in the PTS builds around same time. So hang in there

What’s the difference between V170 and V110?

my build is for march. I’m going to the factory for a tour on the 5th March, I’ll keep an eye out for ST’s on the line

This link was helpful to me. I think both V110 and V170 have to do with PTS (and other special request options). I recall V110 had to do with PCNA and whether there was capacity to do the PTS and V170 had to do with PAG and scheduling the PTS into their slots.

Thanks for the insight. What is interesting is that other Porsche models, you can enter a COMM # into your Porsche account, and that car will be added to Track Your Dream, right when the order is submitted. This could be many months before a VIN is generated. Perhaps they are treating the S/T and other limited cars differently due to scheduling and shuffling.
