I'd love to know the last time Jason C. drove the 4.0 3RS to make that comment. I'd also be curious to know what he'd say if he drove the S/T and 4.0 back to back
When the 992 GT3 was released, he and others, got to drive all the generations at Porsche Experience Center LA.

Sorry, but I only need to hear from Chris Harris (and maybe Jethro) on this car. Only trust his judgment of the journos, the US guys are not nuanced enough. And even Chris can make mistakes, best policy is to drive yourself. But he’s usually right.

The throttle house guys are pretty spot on aswell and not afraid to publicly criticize. Likely as most their reviews are post release deliveries and not bias press pieces.

We agree on something. It's a new year!
Jokes aside, Thomas and James seem like genuine dudes. I'm a fan

Lol. I'm pretty sure we'd agree on more than you'd realize. Generally though they have a genuinely pure way of conducting reviews that give you a truly engaging experience while watching.
No one is buying this car because of a good review.
And certainly no one is not buying this car because of a bad review.
But…..The reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, typically that bodes very well IMHO, low number cars do not get much journalistic review after the initial release. The fact that some might think a 997 4.0 that is currently fetching ~ $800k for a prime example; is better, is nothing, absolutely nothing but a point of context that this car is in that ethos…Along side one of the great GT cars of all time. I am not a 992 fan, and yet here I am, just to follow this car, as it seems to be the best new 911 by a wide margin. Happy New Year to those fortunate enough to get an allocation.

I just enjoy seeing people using the word Ethos completely out of its definition in multiple threads.
Ethos essentially a reference to "Eth"ics of a person/persons.... has no context of referring to an objects persona.
Sorry, had to just get that off my chest as it's been bugging me, but people think it sounds cool so I bit my tongue til now.
Carry on.
