The sport classic is a better drivers car
Car is a step down
It’s 100% marketing
It’s a boring touring

Why you even here? Seriously. Comparing 8 sec 1/4 miles cars to a car that has no business being on a straight track. Any track for that matter. What’s the point? What are you trying to prove?
You talk about the brand and its fan boi’s yet you have a 992 turbo, gt4rs and 3RS in bound. Who’s the real marketing sucker? Any history of Porsche prior to 992?…

I wish I was a marketing sucker as you clearly haven't seen my feedback of the 4RS.
Sparknotes for just joining....
The ST presents a minority Porsche buyer with a car that "may" have slightly better drivability than a Touring.
It's a "limited" anniversary edition.... just like the 50th anniversary 911 was.... 1963 units then aswell.
It's had new badges and a few lighter weight parts.
It's going to have a 200-300k ADM.
It'll have a forced 1yr lease with mandatory dealer return to non-VIP buyers.
Lots of people will spec in black..... because blacks the new British Green kinda hype.
The VIP program is great and the original 918 buyers truly deserve the spots they get since they did Porsche a solid when needed.(not being sarcastic)
Long story short. It'll be be the 992s R til the next Limited car comes out.
As a drivers car, the 4RS will out shine the ST.... I'll put $ on it.

You said you own too many 8-9s cars. So what you are really saying is that you love to put lots of untested aftermarket parts on your cars/trucks to make it go fast in a straight line. LOL.
As one of the initial adopters of Underground Racing Gallardo from back in the days and doing the Texas Miles numerous times, I can assure you, none of those 8-9s quarter mile cars will stand up properly when tracked.
It sounds like you are in your late twenties, maybe early thirties. I can tell you, the knowledge, driving skills and the overall understanding of cars that I had in my 20s ain't **** compared to what I know now. Do you even know the difference between a driver's car and a fast car? Fast does not automatically equate to a driver's car. Owning a car that puts down fast lap times does not mean it's engaging to drive or vice versa. How many of your 8-9s cars/trucks are considered as "driver's cars?"
