for VIP yes, if not no. Also a few new dealers opened too, so pool is shrinking

I’m sure you already know, but for the S/T, every dealer in good standing with PCNA will get at least one.

Given that cosmos said 'No', curious where you heard 'yes'

Let me reiterate. Beyond the allocations already given out to VIPs, not every dealer in America is guaranteed to receive 1 additional ST for “regular” stock.

How many allocations do we think a top dealer like Beverly Hills will get outside of VIP's? 4-5?

When I spoke to my GM at Rennsport, he did confirm that with the SC, Darak, and ST that ALL dealers will receive at least 1 non-VIP allocations. The remaining allocations will be based upon sales so the larger dealers will get more of the remaining allocations.

Not what my GM told me at Rennsport. Normally that was the case before but PCNA wants to spread the wealth among the smaller dealers but as mentioned by someone else the dealers need to be in good standing.

It would be interesting to know if the S/T is creating such a 'buzz' in other markets like Europe and Asia, or if the whole NA/MT/lighter weight thing is more of a USA thing

The CAFE regulation, which took effect in March Europe in 2020, is a regulation which aims to reduce CO2 emissions from automobile manufacturers. Manufacturers who do not comply with these CAFE regulations will have to pay a heavy fine. Thus, this regulation strongly encourages manufacturers to turn to the production and sale of clean vehicles.
Therefore Porsche reduces its allocation of friendly cars in Europe !

Let them send more GT cars to the US as we'll gladly take them.

None of them are in 'bad standing'. If they are, their franchise would have been revoked.

Every dealer WILL get at least one, that's how the pie is divided. For those that aren't in 'good' standing, they might be stuck at 1. Just about any dealer will get 2. Big volume dealers will get multiple of course.

There are 200 Porsche dealers in the USA, 2 cars each only accounts for 400 cars, there are still another 3-400 to be distributed.

Every dealer will get at least ONE S/T. That 1 allocation could be going to a 918 VIP however and they won't get another, is that what you want to say?

For some enterprising Touring owners, or even GT3 owners, the S/T clutch and other related parts can be ordered from the parts department in due time and can be fitted to your car, but the key would be a VIN from a S/T in order to order.

One step closer to your own S/T without paying sky high ADM on top of an outrageous MSRP.
