Once regular cars like Hondas, Toyotas, Kias, etc start selling for under MSRP then it's game over for $50k+ ADMs.

Especially if you’re that guy in the Spyder. I agree… It’s gonna take three.

Targa 4 is slow AF— I’d rather have an M3 —
now a Targa 4 GTS is more in my wheelhouse. Maybe still not hardcore enough.

The best part of his post was he called himself a legend at his dealership

Or maybe the constant mention of panties being dropped as he posts his wife next to one his cars

A "legend" would get a GT3 at MSRP

…to be fair, he got a free hat, so, may be, that is enough to achieve the “legend” status.

Could be a sign of slight softening...but that car is also PDK. Still a surprising result.

Hopefully once <1000 mile cars start going for only $20k-$30k the hype will die down even more since folks will stop thinking about making a quick flip. $20-$30k over is basically $0 after taxes and hassle factor.

There you go boys, auction this thing off to the highest bidder...fantastic 'customer-oriented' approach.

What a load of horses**it

And from experience the gals are more impressed with that open top than the extra 100 hp or wishbone suspension even though it does help corner a lot better in the grocery store parking lot.

the only car worth an extra $100,000 will be the 911 Spyder….. that is the car that will remove a gals panties faster than even a turbo S.

the genius of Porsche is that the GT3 is 90% the same as the base Carrera. Same interior, same electronics, same body except for the silly giant wing and even same carbon fiber seats and I bet that engine is not all that different in a large number of components. The profit margins must be massive.
me end fewer letters on the back…..

i bought three different Porsche sports cars - 911 Targa 4, GT4 and a Boxster GTS - I had the fun of using the configurator three times - not once - got to agonize over deviated stitching three times and got to watch them in the factory and watch three ships steam around the world. Pulled the sheet on three new cars as well. And now I have three sports cars instead of one and each has its own personality. My idea is that the most beautiful girl has a hard time competing with three darn nice looking and fun girl friends on your arm and in your bed all at once.

just my experience - make Porsche give you another complete car for that extra $125,000 mark up over msrp. I bought 1,198 Porsche horsepower, 18 Porsche pistons and 12 Porsche wheels and three steering wheels and not one- but three Bose stereo systems. Okay you want to impress at the local Porsche club of America cars and coffee? Pull in with three new Porsche sports cars - best to have your girlfriends driving the o second and third car of course for real attention getting from other Porsche fans - if attention is your thing.

It is crazy fun to have to decide which of three new Porsche sports cars to drive each morning. The dealer was so thrilled they gave me a $3,000 discount on the Boxster GTS and sold me the GT4 at msrp and threw in a free hat! Now I can buy any other Porsche at favorable prices. Negotiating a $125,000 adm on a single car hardly gives you a reputation with that dealer as a savvy and demanding customer.

lots of arguments over which of the three seats offered by Porsche should one order. With three cars I got one of each style and truth is they are all comfortable. And three transmissions too!
There are so many issues in this post I can't even begin...what is a 911 Spyder? Careful about the panties...I knew a girl once that didn't shave much down there. She bragged one day about getting new panties. She came over and showed me. Unfortunately the new panties didn't solve her issues; in fact they made them worse.
You're wrong about the 4.0 liter engine and no a GT3 is not 90% like a Carrera. Please do your research!

I am paying the $1,000 stupid money to drive a GT3 at the LA Experience center on March 1st on all their modules just to find out if all the hype is really worth a $100,000 adm.

i would buy a GT3 at msrp instantly today but because I know I can drive it for awhile at no cost and maybe make a little profit over the msrp plus sales tax.

really annoying to pay8.75% sales tax on the $100,000 adm plus another $1,000 in registration fees to the idiots in the state of California government.

@usctrojanGT3 this is why no one can get a car. With respect to Mr T32….who does this just to “drop panties?” Or otherwise in a Covid, no-commute world. 2 718s and a Targa just ‘cause?? Many folks on here lamenting they can’t get 2-3 cars due to supply chain issues…kinda funny really the level of awareness… but I agree there are idiots in State government making pensions off car-related fees

Makes no difference to me. Having owned both 991.2 and now a 992, Im just sharing my honest assessment that these aren't worth 100k+ over msrp.
Agree for $300K I’d see a lot of options in the pre-owned space. Car is priced right by Porsche, a solid value actually, minus the “world might end I want to live large” environment. However I still get pushed 991.2 cars for now $210K+ which is $40K over + (asking).

I made the decision to go 991.2 March ‘21 but the gougers were giddy to sell me a 3-year old car with 4K miles for $75K over. Not a good choice IMO unless values come to $10K over MSRP for what is now 6-10K miles.

I am in the camp that the 992 Gt3 is a smarter play, but not at flipper prices. Smart play is to sit out this bubble if you worry about losing 6 figures on a car. The 991.2 will come down as the 992 GT3 and RS finally get to market. Theyve already gapped down 30K. Glad I flipped off Porsche Warrington at $75 over last summer. (Yes, you should all name names on the gougers. )

Exactly! Spot on!

I bought my GT3 because I'm married......anything else would just be asking for problems.
