I love the various opinions on what a "good spec is". I configured the car how "I" wanted it, not how others wanted it.

@ShakeNBake we were referring to the car being offered by @Kalayoubi unless that is your car that is for sale. I also couldn't care less about what others think about my cars' specs, but they still opine.

Oh, no - no plans to sell.....but I guess never say never until the 992.2 is revealed.

Taking this back on topic. I've contacted a few dealers in the PNW and the lowest ADM that's been offered is $50k with delivery of the car 2 years out.

If I am lucky enough to get an allocation in the next couple of months I had assumed the car would be delivered 6-12 months after the order is taken up by Porsche....
EVERYONE, is first in line.

the dealer is basically spitballing their estimate for an allocation in December 2023 to be delivered in early 2024. Their dealer has absolutely no idea if this will actually happen. It's just scribbling on a napkin.
That's for $50K gets you. A scribble on a napkin. It's not a real allocation, or even a promise. It's an estimate.

Are we really still having this ‘place in line’ discussion?

next thing you know all of us that paid ADM and got a car or are getting a car inside of 9 months from allocation going live, will have to be sending out apology letters to the 100+ guys we ‘cut in the line’ and skipped over their ‘numbered place within’.

c’mon guys, this is like believing the big bad wolf is going to come out and get you. I keep getting calls from dealers offering me inbound GT cars with hefty ADMs and I know most are stealer kept allocations not necessarily customer cancellations.

It’s all a game. I hope everyone gets a car but the reality is you have to pay to play, for the most part.

Ya thunk! Sorry they are playing these games with you guys. Come to Chicago and you can drive my car! I just drove it for the first time in 142 days.....but who's counting! We are truly privileged.

^^This. It is at best an estimate - and there is not much you can do about it. So many people believe they have an allocation who do not. All they have is a [insert down payment here] lighter wallet.....or worst case, pretraded their 997 or 991 GT3 while the market is still going up.

Actually, I'm #5 in line at my dealer, and I was #7 before, then #6, now #5. I trust their process. Now the sheer number of allocations given out in the next few months, that's another story.

Starting to think about upgrading my 991.1 and stopped by my local dealer. They are asking for an ADM of $120k on a winged GT3 and $140k on a GT3 Touring.

This statement is as credible as your GFs telling you that you were their second...
