Default The ‘List’

Man, after almost 8000 posts on this thread, we’re still believing in ‘lists’…?

I have a good friend who has been on ‘The List’ since 2015 expecting a 991.1, then a dot 2, then a 992 GT car slot at msrp. Still has no car. His middle name is patience. I guess.

Good luck with said list. 🤔

Does anybody know what 992 GT3 RS cars are really being sold for? BAT looks like some activity in the low $400's but dealers listing for $499k or more.

It worked for me. I was on the list for four years.

market on these is very fluent ,with asking all over the place , as more cars get delivered , the market will be more stable
but I will say that BAT is a better reflection of reality as it is a selling price not listing price

There are allocations out there around $100k over so use that as a benchmark for used cars.

OTOH, upside of a used car is that you can look at the car and maybe test drive it, and if you like the build, you can have the car in a matter of hours or days, instead of waiting months to get it.

highly doubtful people are going to let you test drive their essentially new RS before you buy it but agree with the other reasons. That being said - being able to spec your own obviously has a ton of advantages so I personally would rather wait if I truly have both options.

LOL you know better than to think someone is going to be able to test drive a 992 3RS on a dealer lot

There are a total of 4 right now listed at Manheim. Lowest wholesale price on a 2023 is $440k. Lowest 2024 is $519k.

I don't see any retailers buying at those prices. Crazy. I'm assuming Manheim purchased these for resale to wholesalers, and they'll be losing money if what I said is correct?

I know one of the dealers near me that was asking $200K ADM for the GT3 RS is now asking 150k ADM. Not sure how negotiable but that puts it in the low to mid 400s depending on spec

I likely have stores of mine that will do better than 150k over MSRP for a changeable 3RS.

It may have sold for less, but still cant imagine it being much less than they listed for given the recent $20K drop.

I guess if you really want to drive the car a ton for a couple of years it is not a bad deal, you wouldn't lose too much on it, but would be concerned if keeping this car longer term.
This car is still available. I looked at it last night when picking up my new Macan GTS. It is a PECLA car (confirmed with dealer), but if someone wants to buy a "new" 992 GT3 w/full CPO warranty @ ~$200K (call and talk to Jackie Rose. She told me she'll negotiate on the price), I think it's a good deal.

It’s a CPO PDK GT3 for 200k, buy it and enjoy.
