Mani, I have wonderful perpective and empathy and dont fret about price trends. I would just prefer a forum without the ilikethetrackclown Total waste of time posting (obviously) for himself since I have yet to find one rennlister who gets any value (entertainment or otherwise) from his nonsense.

Iwill, you talk incessantly about enjoying your time on the track. Spend even more time on it and less here....please? Idea, let's crowdfund $$ to pay him out of here.

I don't know if it's just the crazy ADM's pricing everyone out or the no frunk or people wanting regular GT3 more or what...

I paid an ADM of 25k on the last gt3rs, so I am victim (sucker) of ADM as well LOL my GT4 I paid 7500 too, at least I custom ordered both. So I am just a poor peasant that has to get the cars the old fashioned way, on the streets. Don't have the luxury connect like PTS and USCtrojan
I didn't pursue a 992 3RS for these reasons:

- Lack of frunk and glovebox are problematic
- Very expensive car to put on track in terms of track insurance
- Not sure I can deal with the g forces
- Not willing to pay huge ADM, and not sure I would have been able to get one at MSRP from my dealer
- Was able to get a nice 991.2 3RS at a good price, and I'm a big fan of 991 cars
- 992 GT3 draws less attention

My good man, please do all of us a favor and continue spending your free time “adding lots of miles and track days” and leave us plebs alone to wallow in the conundrum that is Porsche GT car ADMs.

Thank you sir.

Why not just put him on ignore.. no need to silence people just because they think differently... (esp after the past few years...)

touring: 4 sales at 299.5k avg.
winged: 4 sales at 270.75k avg.

Q4 2023 BAT: 15 sales at 251.6k average (212 low/292 high) -33.5k yoy
touring: 8 sales at 263.1k avg. -36.4 yoy
winged: 7 sales at 238.4k avg. -32.3 yoy

That data is fairly consistent however you look at it fore market dropping considerably, matches with how much I have seen prices drop on autotrader.....so GT3's lost almost 3k a month last 12 months using the most transparent data of actual sales....that depreciation is OUCH

at this rate the people who paid 300k 12-18 months ago will sell for 200 after 3 years of ownership. yikes for the crowd that cared about resale. I myself buy cars expecting half value after 3 years.

Are 992 GT3's investments still ***** and pts, value clowns
You’ve cherry picked 2 points, and started at the peak car prices in decades after a once in a century economic shock and then extrapolated that rate of change out 3 years, instead of looking at 3 years of the data curve. You are deeply confused and not very good at math. It is profoundly unlikely these cars depreciate 15% per year for 4 years. We know this as 991.2 tourings never sold under msrp.

Expecting to buy gt3s with delivery miles at 50% msrp ? Lolololol. GLWT

I didn’t realize they also charge ADM in Gran Turismo!? I guess this is a new feature in the latest version to make it even more realistic?

I don't think it's surprising to anyone here that you haven't built a "relationship" with a dealer

Personally I think it boils down to money. 991.1 with ADM was 225k-235k and 991.2 was 250-275k. Compare that to 992 where you’re looking at 375-425k. That is a serious chunk of change which is a big barrier when so many people are already so cost conscious. Those that can afford must really love the car else they go to the usual exotics such as Ferrari or Lamborghini.

Heck for the price of a 3RS with moderate markup, I can get a Urus S at MSRP and have 200k to buy a new R8.

For the vast majority of people, this hardcore of a track toy at this price just doesn’t make sense.

I think the 992 3RS can make sense as a track car at MSRP - sort of. With a markup, it's too expensive for me as a track car, and for that money I'd get a McLaren if I want a road-only car. I wonder what percentage of 992 3RS will be tracked.

I’d be lying if I said an STO or 765LT wasn’t in my radar, but the 3RS was an absolute must for me

I hear you, I paid 222k for my 991.2 when new, and I thought that was a lot haha. At 400k, I would probably just get an R for not much more, or a speciale

I got offered 25 over on an open allocation and didn't take it because it would have still been 300k and it's just not 300k exciting to me given it seems to be a lot less usable. The last one was pretty unusable on the street as is, the new one seems to be almost completely unusable. Basically a cup car

The new one is reported to have better ride quality than the 992 GT3 when the dampers are put in softest settings in track mode. So it could be used on the road as long as one is ok with no frunk or glovebox, and drawing attention.
