6/13/23 $249,999
6/5/23 $254,065
2/16/23 $268,000
2/15/23 $268,000

I do not see the demand/market for GT3 "falling off a cliff". In fact, the wholesale value has actually climbed from 12 months ago.

Not that wholesale pricing is everything on a car like this, but the lowest priced 992 GT3 listed right now (excluding accidents, clean titles/carfax only) is a 2022 with 16k miles for $237,000. 6,000 mile examples are averaging well over the $265k mark...wholesale.
There are a handful of cars in the $220-$228K range that have a good carfax for sale now and likely room to negotiate as they have been sitting over 60+ days.. Not sure where you are looking, but AT alone has a handful below the price you mentioned and much lower miles. There are 21 cars under $250K just on AT excluding the ones w a Carfax issue and the one PECLA car, a year ago there were only a couple. The bottom range has declined on these cars due to age / miles, you can find low mileage examples for $30K less than before.

Just looking at the most recent auctions:

https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3gy...orsche-911-gt3 $228K w 2,100 miles.

https://carsandbids.com/auctions/rxL...orsche-911-gt3 This one is PTS 6-speed and only 350 miles and sold for $33K over MSRP. A year ago a PTS Green 6-Speed would have been $80K over, a year and a half ago it would have been even more.

https://carsandbids.com/auctions/KDv...orsche-911-gt3 This one sold for $212K, but is a Canadian car but including it just to show the most recent group of cars sold.

There are also numerous other cars that have been sitting a while with significant price drops. This one they have dropped the price $40K in 60 days. 1900 miles and $235K list price, which may have more room to negotiate since it has been sitting.

I’ve always found online auctions to be a market within a market. Yes, they are a data point and can probably pick up market trends, but dealerships can many times get higher sale prices because they can conveniently take your trade, get financing easy, you can go look / inspect the car, and many people trust a business more than a single unknown person.

Don’t forget that the 22’ GT3’s have their warranty disappearing with each passing month. How much more value should a 2024 GT3 have versus a 2022?

Probably worth close to the huge increase in MSRP between the two

It’s incredible the ignorance found on these forums lol All one has to do is educate themselves.

I don't think that a warranty or shrinking warranty period has a material effect on the GT market as the cars are very reliable...look at the pricing for 997 GT3s and 991.2 GT3s.

Most 991.2 GT3 are OOW, are near the very end.

So not really a relevant comparison as both cars (997 and 991.2) ore OOW or nearly so.

for 997 yes. For 991.2 GT cars, many owners purchased an extended transferable warranty from porsche which gives them a full decade of coverage in total.

My 991.2 GT3 is covered by Porsche for another 5 years.

your jealousy is showing

I get the vibe daddy buys your cars for you. Enjoy your trust fund, it’s a lot easier to spend money aimlessly when you didn’t make it yourself. Daddy’s 911r drives great I bet

Most guys bought the Porsche extended warranty on their 992.1 GT3? What was the cost for a 10 year 100,000 warranty extension that other guys have paid?

At 72 with recent quadruple bypass surgery - while that warranty extension sounds like a reasonable investment - this seems like maybe too optimistic for me personally.

I have also wondered if there are any changes and improvements made in the 2024 vs older year models. Porsche must learn something from their warranty repair costs and try to make corrections if possible.

Here’s to wishing you a continued long and fruitful life my friend. Wish many blessings for you to the point where that 10 year 100K warranty ISN’T too optimistic for you in any way, from one enthusiast to another.

I hope you will need many extended warranties after this one runs out. Best of health to you.

Seems about right. I have to say that the ADM, however minor, on the GTS and S......I would never sign up to that if I were in the market. GT cars have almost always sold with an ADM, the GTS / S ADM seems like a pure 2021-throwback that dealers are milking to the last drop,

I think that Tubros Ss and probably Carreras can be had for MSRP but the rest are in the ballpark.
