They forgot one of the losers on that list.

People who forgone buying a GT car in the hopes that ADMs would either vanish or come down.

The tide might be changing. Got an email from my local P dealer yesterday advertising all their GT cars in inventory. That never happened to me before. Seeing lots of price reduced listings as well. 2024 should be interesting.

Not Porsche, but in the 2022 we bought an AMG GLS63 suv for which the going rate was about $10k ADM (we got it at MSRP by making a take or leave it offer and reminding them we're a local customer). Today, another dealer offered us the 2024 model for $10k under MSRP without our even pressing for a discount. I don't know how indicative this is of the car market in general.

I’m sure someone will try to say the discounts on Stellantis product will be seen on 911s sometime soon.

2024 will be interesting. Skeptical prices on used gt3 will drop below msrp though, and adm will stay scorching on the hot new models.

the 991 touring never dropped below msrp. I don’t expect the 3RS to become affordable for years.

no one can predict with certainty the exact path of the GT car market
but we can see the past
and certainly the market is softer now as compared to 6-12 months ago
concerning the next 6-12 months path , we all have our predictions and the market will depend on the balance between the bulls and the bears

Higher rates did nothing to home values in my city. Didn’t kill the stock market either. People that buy these cars have both.

I know home prices and stock market aren’t the economy, but if Ferrari and Lamborghini owners are forced to trade down to a 911, won’t that support the current pricing for longer?

Ferrari and Lambo owners are buying out production, not trading down. Until those cars waitlist < 2 years, I’m skeptical the 250k / 300k Porsche market will soften dramatically

White Is a great color for a Porsche and always looks great in person. Seems like a boring choice but is elegant and sporty at the same time and the easiest to repair in the event of an accident.

lots of race cars are painted in white - which also gives it a certain serious look also. The best color for livery decals. And free on a new Porsche!

We’ve been hearing for 3 years from the prognosticators to “just wait, ADM is going to zero”…lol, whelp how’d that work?

But hey, in 2018 someone bought something for $30K under MSRP.

These types of macro trends are seemingly impossible to predict until they’re suddenly apparent all around you. History and common sense says we’ll have a reversion to the mean. When? Who knows
