We are approaching almost 5,000 GT3s/Tourings for the US alone, I doubt they built over 5,000 Turbos or 5,000 Turbo Ss in the US given what I've read in that Turbo section.

In the 911 range, he said the profit margin (again, as a percentage) would be a little lower for a stripper GT car as compared to an average non-GT 911, but when the GT cars are well optioned the profit margin is about the same or slightly higher. He thinks the profit margin for the ST and SC is probably about the same as the GT cars, so they aren't really 'money grabs'.

In absolute dollars per vehicle, the profit will generally be higher for the more expensive cars, though Cayennes will overlap with non-GT 911s.
This makes sense. No single GT3 vs. another GT3 has the same profit margin. PTS and other options raise the overall profit margin. Remember, each option has its own individual profit margin, and when summed, can be quite lucrative.
PTS, Exclusive Manu interior, carbon roof, PCCB, buckets, gloss black crap options, etc. etc. Profit margin out the yin-yang.

If you’re speaking of the Turbo, not Turbo S, I’d bet a horse there are more GT3s than Turbo models.

Agreed. I'm throwing them together. Since he threw GT3/Tourings together. Normal Turbo's are rare.

Still would bet they made far more Turbo S than GT3

I have never seen a 992 Turbo around
I see more 992 GT3 around than 992 TTS ,
I have to check with my dealer how many total they sold of each
but my gut feeling is they build more TTS than GT3

The main reason to get the turbo instead of turbo s is because standard features of the S are not wanted. Most people want those features and aren’t trying to save a bit of money. Also, turbo s is a President car, turbo is a Vice President car. Turbo can make more sense as a track car, but not many people track these things.

Both of you deserve each other.

I would ask you to stop polluting this thread but it’s already a cesspool.

At what page number of this thread did you come to that conclusion?

Or did you miss all of those posts that littered this thread about the impending Recession, the Stock Market collapsing, and along with it ADM's?

Are the mods going to go back and delete all of those posts from a year ago too?
Or do you just "cherry-pick" who you believe is "littering" a thread?

What's the problem? DD is an experienced investor, and has been calling it correctly, so I'm interested in his forecast on the economy and stock market. The forecast is relevant to ADM and market prices on these cars. If mods don't want posts on that stuff in this thread, that's fine, just tell us.

Merry Christmas.

RS just transacted for $405k + premium. Not too many crossing the line lately, so nice data point.

At a 285ish MSRP - 120k premium plus fees. Healthy.

To all who wondered where the polarizing Ruby Star on Blue Interior GT3 Touring would end up, low and behold:
