I may have a GT3 Touring allocation available. I'll know for sure here in a bit. It's an October build with December delivery. Their ask will be 75k over MSRP total.

Looking for an allocation, Wing or Touring. Willing to pay ADM, but not 75.

DM if you have a lead, thanks!

This one may not be a bad option for you: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1360791/page2

Bringing it stateside is easier (and cheaper) than what most people think. Just get yourself a good broker with door to door service. Good luck.

So this did become available except it's a wing allocation.

I have a 2024 GT3 - with the lovely wing -- for free- since the Touring without the wing is the same price -- so I guess they give you the wing for free right?
Anyway- I got a call as I was going into Lowes from a Dealer I have bought two other Porsche toy cars from in the last two years and was offered this GT3 allocation at MSRP with $40,000 extra for their retirement fund I assume. I was going to buy some caulking tubes but before I reached the front Door of Lowes I had spent $240,000 -- I had to spec the car within the day-- and came up with a build of barely under $200,000. Of course, the MSRP base price is increased for 2024-- by around $15,000 so really I gave up a bunch of options and did not really get a DEAL on the ADM. You could look at it as if PORSCHE grabbed $15,000 of the dealerships ADM for themselves. I was not on any list to buy a GT3 -- but I had been offered a GT3 with a $50,000 ADM early in the year -- a 2023- but turned it down as I had a 911T on order already-- okay I had tow 911T's on order. But not from this dealer with the GT3 allocation. I also offered to buy the matching GT3 watch for $10,500 extra -- which is only available to those who buy a GT3 -- the big deal is they engrave the back with the VIN number. Odd I have not seen a used GT3 with the watch. I bought the watch to make the dealer happy -- actually the salesman get a nice commission which should prime my position for the next car I want from them as well.

My GT3 is on ship headed to Santa MArta columbia, I guess drug dealers like to drive Porsche sports cars as well (any on our forum?)-- then the Panama Canal and I am hoping it gets to the dealer in San FRancisco before September 26 so I can pick it up and drive it to Rennsport with all the other hundreds of GT3's that will show up.

When I took a tour of the Stuttgart factory last summer - I was surprised to see how many GT3's were coming down the assembly line -- I thought they were rare.

THe profit margin on a GT3 compared to say a 911 S must be massive. Everything is the same except the engine and some suspension and some cosmetic plastic stuff.

Think of all the options you could put on a 911 Targa 4s or better a 911 S coupe for $250,000. NOt sure I made a good snap decision for myself--not considering making or losing money on the car -- I kept the regular seats and the color is shark blue (now I know that 19% of all GT3's are Shark Blue) basic interior and carbon fiber roof and so on--neodyme wheels. It is going to have to be really fantastic to beat the driving experience of my Rubystar Neo 911 T with the Black gloss aerokit -- a really impressive looking vehicle and it drives better than any car I have ever driven. and the most fun. The GT3 is a PDK and the 911T is a manual. I do like they replaced that stupid shaver on the other 911's with an old fashioned simulated shifter.

You do get the center lock wheels however-- why? Because the wheels with the nuts fall off all the time? Look cool?

Anyway if I don't like this GT3-- too harsh - I can use it on a trade for something else that Porsche comes up with in the near future.Maybe a hybrid 911 --but not in shark blue.

^ I don't doubt that the profit margin is quite large but, to be fair, part of what you're paying for with a GT3 is the engineering and resulting performance, not just the additional manufacturing cost.

My GT3 is at the port in Germany and scheduled to be delivered around the end of this month. Kind of excited. GT3 is an iconic benchmark sports car for me.

I am excited to compare this Holly Grail GT3 to my other cars-- a 2022 GT4, 2022 GTS Boxster, 2023 911 T, and a 2023 Corvette C8 convertible and a 2021 911 Targa 4. My hope is that it is inspiring to drive on the road as well as the track. It is really too valuable to throw around on a track -- one hood scratch and it is worth tens of thosands less on BAT. But it will be fun to see if I like it better than the GT4-- which I am not a fan of because there are no pops and crackles when down shifting like my Targa and the 911 T. And the engine on the GT4 makes an unpleasant screeching droning sound which I find very annoying. I ordered the GT3 in the same colors and options to match the GT4 that I will sell. And the GT4 is just too cramped inside for a 6'2" 260 lbs guy. And why no surround view on a MSRP$200,000 car?

I have bought into all the hype on Rennsport and in all the Youtube reviews on the GT3 - and I am hoping I find it is an out of this world sports car per all the public accolades.

My big fear is my C8 which I bought to go for weekend drives with my friends in the local corvette club- is better for $150,000 less. It has 510 hp--and the C8 has the wishbone front end suspension, and is comfortable inside -- it can be set to drive like a Cadillac or like a race car. THe Top folds down, the passenger seat has memory b uttons. And the C8 exhaust is deafening to anyone standing near its tail when started. Everything inside is covered in leather and also alcantera -- I wanted to dislike the car as a Porsche fan --but honestly -- it is a fasntastic amount of car for and I paid MSRP. I would never admit this to my Corvette Friends-- but maybe there is a "substitute for my Porsche toys and it is made here in the United States".

The GT3 is a fantastic car. It does receive a lot of hoopla though. Most people buy these without ever driving one. Where it shines it under wide open throttle on open roads at high speed. I find it difficult sometimes to appreciate it because I do not track cars. My 992S is a better daily/weekend fun car. There is always that feeling to in the back of your head about getting any scratches etc on the gt3. Good luck you really can’t make a bad decision. We are all blessed to afford these cars.

PDK 992 w/out buckets or PCCB hammered for $256k incl. premium against a $213k MSRP. Feels like a healthy deal for seller actually given spec.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...he-911-gt3-53/

edit: actually has PCCBs

They're at 75k over MSRP but I think they'll work with me a bit.

Given the MSRP, taxes, PPF, insurance etc... I think they need to get at least $300k for this to be in the money... obviously no memories were made with it.

Maybe he jerked off to the car while it was collecting dust in his garage/storage unit. Is Porsche San Antonio an MSRP dealer?
