If these guys are so rich that they dont care about losing 50-60k on a gt3 + fully enjoying their cars, they wouldnt be posting on adm thread on daily basis 😂
That, plus some of us present arguments for why the car isn’t worth a big ADM and that there are plenty of other options besides a 992 GT3 (e.g., Chris Harris recently put his 992 GT3 up or sale, opting to sell it and keep his 991 GT3). These arguments are perhaps painful to hear for those view their 992 GT3 as an extension of their selves and worry deep down that they overpaid (they should tip $1K next time they go to a restaurant and see if they have any regrets). But the arguments are fair, and if they don’t want to hear them, they can simply stop wasting their time reading and posting in this thread and instead go drive their car.

You're a funny guy.

I find you and Manifold (the alleged owner of 10 cars) and all of the other broken clock's to be entertaining.
And I dont seem to be "alone" in that assessment.

So says the guy that claims to own 10 cars (has never posted any pics of them), but has posted here over 200X since November 1st.
And of course, you've all told us that youre #1 on your dealer's list and at MSRP even though you havent bought a GT car since 2016.
Good luck with that.

sitting on the sidelines playing keyboard warrior on RL like you and Mani would make me angrier than paying ADM and driving a 992 GT3. But keep being you I guess

Btw, got mine at MSRP

I love Chris Harris but he’s not the chosen one who rose from the dead in flacht. I’m sure that his decision has nothing to do with him about to profit immensely from the sale of the 992. If I recall his 991 has 50,000 miles. That’s about 150k difference between the two.

For someone who has alligator arms and is all about value you fail to see the real reason he sold it.

but you’re right the 992 sucks. So don’t bother. Let us suffer with it.

Yes sir, most realtors aren't busy now but I have 4 upcoming listings in the next few weeks and I told all my buyers to wait until the Spring and Summer to buy has prices will drift lower and there will be more inventory to pick from. As the saying goes, the top 20% of realtors make 80% of the commission. This downturn is a great thing because it'll weed out the posers, pretenders, and other wastes of space wanna-be realtors like 2008-2010 did.

The F cars were not as bad and Mac. I had a couple since the 7 year maintenance program started. The challenge, however, is having to pay for a warranty that runs roughly $6K per year. On the Mac side, I had a 570 and a 720 Spider and Coupe. Oil change was $2K per year, and the warranty didnt cover things like the suspesion accumulators. I never owned a Mac long enough to have to extend the warranty, but those are cars that should never be out of warranty!

It’s an example, and if he’s selling the 992 now for a profit, that may indicate that he expects prices to fall so he’s selling high.

992 GT3 doesn’t suck, just not worth more than $200K IMO.

Remember what I said in a previous post.... "What is obvious, is obviously wrong"

If it's obvious, people are ALREADY positioned for it.

Double Ds, you're back!! Thought you weren't going to come back, but here you are!

Where do I begin with your post? First, you are repeating yourself about the January Consumer Sentiment Index. As I already said in response, it's coming from historic lows, so just because it's at a 9 month high means jack. It was at 64.6 for January, up from a record low of 50 in June 2022. For context, the index was at 101 in February 2020. You really need to provide the full picture before you post stuff like that. It's misleading...

Ok, I agree that the stock market may rally ahead of the end of the recession (if there is one), but not sure what point you are making.

Again, you are repeating yourself with the saying "What is obvious, is obviously wrong." NOTHING is obvious right now. You have people making educated guesses on what will happen. Including yours truly.

Just got an alert on AutoTrader. There was a price reduction of a PTS acid green 992 GT3 to a price of $224,600, which is exactly MSRP. Maybe it's a mistake in the listing? Or maybe it's capitulation?

Anyways, not my color, but interesting...

This is a really strange scenario to posit. On the one hand, paying a 50k ADM, or not, is within your control. On the other hand, your 401(k) tanking is pretty much out of your control, unless you go super conservative and sit in cash. Again, a strange situation to face, but I'll play along. The ADM is gone, poof, into the coffers of the dealer, bye-bye forever. But if your 401(k) tanks, it can come back and then some.
