Why would anyone be happy making 4% at a Bank when they could be making a little over 5% in a risk-free six-month Treasury Bill?

Might also ask why someone would get more joy from watching their money earn interest (at whatever rate) versus driving around in a modern GT3.

Both of those asking prices are dumb.

Exactly.

As if 4 or 5% is really going to move the needle in a material way.

FWIW, my music gear salesperson (aka, drug dealer) tells me that sales of guitars remain strong across all price ranges.

Is this asking price dumb from a stealership in North Houston?
Looks like a $176,760 MSRP.

I don't know the story of that 4RS (I've seen it in person as I frequent PNH), but PNH is an amazing dealership.

They love Texas BBQ too

Especially so in the land of opportunity, the market is the market. Rational or not is for the buyer/seller to decide, not some bystanders.

I'm curious to learn how much BBQ I have to send them in order to make that $88,000 ADM disappear and I can buy at MSRP.
Someone here told me that they are an MSRP dealership and not a stealership.
I guess they were mistaken.

I heard the same about them not charging ADM. I'm guessing 100k worth of BBQ might get it done as long as you build them a BBQ stand as well and provide them with a staff to sling it.

I recently bought a Raptor R for msrp (made a $5K donation to one of their charities as well) through a dealer I've been doing business with for years. That same dealer charged $50K to a Dr. for their second allocation. It's all about relationships. It takes time, integrity, and past business to achieve the position.

They are an MSRP dealership for many customers, I can vouch.

Again, don't know the story of the 4RS above. They are not a dealer that dealer specs GT cars and sells them to highest bidder which makes me believe that a customer ordered this car and backed out so they are trying to get market pricing for it.

I dont think the customer backed out.
The Car Fax says it was titled in Arkansas on 11/18/22
And now they're selling it for an $88,000 ADM.

I don't know of ANY dealership selling USED cars at MSRP... i think that's wishful thinking.

What PNH seems to do is that the same as my local dealer in DFW does... they sell most NEW cars at MSRP to priority customers (probably hoping they will get it back on trade and buy other cars from them), and once they are taken care of they might sell new cars at ADM

It makes complete business sense to me

Ok so an Arkansas dealer built it and PNH likely traded for it to sell? Not sure what point you're trying to prove.
