Porsche is getting on everything except resolving their broken allocation system and shortage of the GT product. Let's pump out a bunch of new hot models, market them hard and then let the drama unfold with flippers on BAT, ADMs and dealer games with ranking customers on who bought most SUVs and other lot models from them. I see nothing wrong with keeping it "one short of what market demands", but current situation is just as s shame, when people pay 50K ADM for an allocation without damn buckets or PCCB on a GT product, all whilst marketing and development team sing praises on how good GT product is for the "enthusiast". Rant over.

California Porsche dealers have sold a lot of McLaren’s and Lambo’s. Will at least half of those customers come back ? Sure. Most ? Nope.

it’s really nice not getting jerked around by a Macan salesman who thinks he’s a supercar rockstar dealer. And every allocation is a PTS, Cxx slot.

It has to be one or two things...either a shortage of GT cars and/or the shenanigans that stealers play. Dealers control the supply of GT cars and some of them like to fib to try to extract big ADMs (e.g. this is the last NA GT, there won't be anymore allocations, GT cars allows appreciation/are good investments, etc).

That's a new one.

I'm sure there are dealers that wish that was actually true.

$50,000 over and its just getting started.

It's now March of 2023. Where's that Recession that Manifold and Trojan have been talking about for nearly a year?

Why are ADM's still robust?

It must be because "dealerships control the SUPPLY of GT cars."

Hahahahahaha!

Hey guys,

A good friend was offered an immediate allocation that’s about to freeze for a winged car. No pts, no pccb available, they want 50 over. Needs to decide asap.

He's asking me if that's the going rate but I have no idea cause I get my cars at sticker from a different dealer. I told him that feels high for a non touring but i might be wrong.

Thoughts?

For once I'm really asking for a friend.

For those who can't get MSRP allocations, that seems a bit high, but not crazy high, for a buildable allocation. Maybe he can offer 30k over?

Are LWB available on your friend's allocation?

That aside, 50k is a bit high.

I would aim for 25-35k.

That's exactly what I said to him ... if it were me and had no prior relationship with a dealer and I wanted a GT3 now and it was winged with no pts or pccb available $30k adm seems about as high as it should be ... but I thought I would ask because I have no idea where the actual market is.

Are buckets also on constraint?

For reference a USED, PDK, 7k miles with a very small accident just sold for 27k over.

Is that 23k extra worth it to him? being a first owner and maybe doing a euro delivery or atlanta/LA delivery.

There’s nothing like being the first owner imo. So what’s the value on that?

Plus I bet that would set him up for future cars at sticker.

Maybe 40k will take it!

I've heard conflicting reports.

They definitely are not available for non-GT cars (Turbo's included).

The only cars that are a definite "go" for LWB are the GT3RS and Dakar. Not sure about the current crop of GT3 in the pipeline.
