There are GT3’s at $50,000 over a lot of places and the exotic car dealers are being flooded with GT3’s and GT3-RS and such these days.

follow www.westcoastexotics.com

I was at theee place this morning and they have maybe 15 or more of all these GT cars - some with 30 miles — and the owner told me the market is not realistically more than $50,000 over msrp and if you want to sell one less and he said the interest level has fallen way off in terms of phone calls. He also said he gets more dollars for the cars as he can finance or lease the cars while individual sellers can’t provide financing.

One friend that is a sales guy at the Porsche dealer also said a lot of these cars are sold on a financing deal to people that have rather low equity and they are getting exotic cars to sell from banks that are repossessing them. When the equity disappears for some of these flippers using borrowed money - they will give them back to the bank.

a rational value floor is around $25,000 over msrp - if Porsche announces They will not produce any more 992 or 992.2 GT3’s then the value of the 992 cars will likely settle at something like $25,000 over their original msrp with adjustments for mileage and condition.

porsche may not want to see a blood bath on the GT3 given dealers sold them for huge premiums - a lot of top customers will be unhappy.

Interesting to watch how this GT3 market changes over the course of 2023- this time next year we will all know.

One thing we know for sure is that there will continue to be people on this thread voicing their opinion's on what other people pay for a GT car.
They'll continue to repeat themselves until theyre blue in the face as if this forum serves as some kind of "therapy" to rationalize why they'll never own a GT car.
Meanwhile, some of us will simply be enjoying our cars.

Happy Holidays!

All of this is irrelevant; do a poll. Everyone pays cash for their 911, regardless of trim level.

we already know what will be this time next year. these cars will all be considerably less in price and most of us (certainly speaking for myself) won't care provided those who own them didnt buy them to simply stare at them parked in a garage, or "overpay" expecting to profit. Here's a rhethorical question to those on this thread who continue to plead to would-be buyers (including yourselves) to wait for prices to fall $50k: assume the going rate now for my 2022 GT3 Touring is $260k, and a year from now the market is $200k. Will you would-be buyers then say that you might as well wait another year for them to be $180/170/160? I have a dear friend who would always wait for the right deal and he never jumped on one...then he got a bad dose of reality when his doc delivered the C word to him, with 6 months to a year to live. He bought the car then, but truly never enjoyed it much before passing. I am certainly not one for spending frivilously based on the simple reality that life is fragile, but i do suggest that some of you need a dose of perspective.

I think i've mentioned this before, we are seeing a discrepancy now in prices based on spec. Before everything was $75K-$100K over at a minimum, now we are seeing the better specs with no miles go for the lower end of this range, but the ones that are less desirable specs have been decreasing in price. People are also paying a premium for cars that are a good spec, with no miles, there is a very similar build same color and options, (actually better since it has PCCBs) that is priced $20K less than the one that sold on BAT today ,that has been sitting a while, this car has 2,000 miles on it though. I think a big reason for the back and forth in this thread is people are looking at different cars, really very few cars are exactly the same so its not an apples to apples comparison. Some of us think paying $30K extra for one little option you want is a waste, but to others they are in the camp that thinks if you're spending $250K+ for a car, you should get exactly what you want. I think waiting has/and will benefit those who want a PDK car with sofas and doesnt mind putting miles on it. It may make little difference to someone wanting a PTS touring w manual who doesnt want to put any miles on it. I think some dont really care about getting 100% of the options theyd prefer, when the premium to get everything you want is so high right now. I think those that are willing to be flexible in their build are better served waiting, if you have an exact build in mind and have a higher build in mind it probably makes sense to just buy it when you come across it and not try to time it. There was a car on BAT yesterday that was RNM at $225K (~$40K over) , today we see one sell for $265K (~$70K over) which i think supports this.

I would tend to agree with your summary which touches on specs because that's exactly what we've been witnessing.
The Shark Blue car that did not meet reserve with a $225,00 bid and was $43,000 over had sofas, PDK, and no PCCB.
Meanwhile, the GT Silver car with 18 miles that sold today at $265,000 and was $73,000 over had a nice clean spec with a manual and buckets.

Where are all these No mile cars? The best I’ve seen is 400-500miles. Most have 1500-3000. Those cars are being sold with high dollar numbers . Most prices are still being offered around 295-310 in authorized Porsche dealers

Flippers need to drive it a bit so they can brag that they owned the car.

How many miles do I need to drive my car to not be categorized as a flipper? 3k miles? 5k miles? 10k miles? Or until the wheels fall off and/or the engine explodes?

I’ve seen prices coming down . These cars have 1000+ miles . There aren’t any with just delivery miles and no *** prints on the seats. I want to imprint my own *** for near 300k.

Yeah should be your farts only for these prices. At no ADM, you should be willing to endure the previous owners farts.

I’ll pay 40-50 ADM for a used car. 70-90 gets a little unpalatable

All farting aside, you can probably find 40-50 over for a nice used spec, especially since it's winter and sports car season isnt upon us.
