^ that is not good or smart sales staff.
I only wear sweat pants or shorts. T shirts.
I shave once a month and I don't bother with my hair.
how does that affect what I want to buy?

if i would be a dealer and a maybe-flipper comes in - i would also charge him ADM. its business. not caritas/charity.
the ones who complain: please tell your stories where your business is giving away goods with a left margin in it. to "random" guys.
i got MSRP -3% on my 992 Touring order. (Europe)
i like to play, so i also crash them and my cars need stuff and service... maybe thats the reason... i was just asking for the 992T and got a discount. i was surprised. no bs! but there is also a relation of a couple of years..

Matter of fact, if a dealership offered a 992 GT3 at MSRP and it's located in the wilderness, everyone will still flock to it.
That dealership does not exist, every dealer has overhead costs and the downturn of Covid to wear, now that they have a product they can use to help recover that overhead, you bet they will do their best to milk it.
If Porsche wanted to sell direct, they would. The dealership experience (lack of a better term for better or worse) is the route to market Porsche has decided and no amount of feedback will change it.
