I can put up with a KERS system, so long as it doesn't add to the overall weight of the car. At least not significantly. AND it must retain a N/A high revving engine, 4.0 or larger.

If it turns into a smaller, less powerful engine, that doesn't sound as good, with more weight, I don't care if it has overall better power or performance. I won't buy it.

That's what the Carrera manual trans is for. Porsche already has about 40 variants of the 911, too many.

cleaning ladies are on extra scrub down duty these days. however, they still gossip if you send them emoji texts.

the future is still very bright for GT enthusiast cars

I'm sure Porsche would love one of their dealers giving out information early.

Explain the benefit to CJ? Telling people what is coming in advance so they don't buy his cars on the showroom today? Ya, that makes sense.

telling people exactly what is coming wont stop sales now. everyone knows cars get improved generation to generation. people who want car now will get car now regardless. with everything on cv shutdown, would be nice to have some new gossip to discuss is all

Nobody knows guys.. the info just isn't out yet. This whole thread was started completely prematurely because people wanted to feel the buzz I guess, but it's fed by pure hopey speculation, same level of accuracy as "santa told me in a dream he's bringing me X toy". 12 pages of hope.

Now go on and tell me that some people know and cleaning lady loving etc.

Do you say that because you think the decision on final spec has yet to be made or that it’s been made, but being closely held as secret?

If not finalized yet, I would think it must be close (and more probably already decided)...

Made & secret.. cars are developed and finalized years in advance.

That's already his fake account.

(Hint: His last name isn't Ichiban.)

Sorry, I can't say more. I promised CJ to take his secret to the grave.

Think they were planning to release a car named simply “911 GT”, which I assume is the 992 version of the R? Who knows now, though what will happen after the virus situation. World automakers will have some serious choices to make and may not just jump right back into the swing of things. Porsche might even go full enviro-hugger and scrap all petrol plans altogether. Who knows.
