Do you have an idea of the base price ? When i see the price of a well optionned 992C4S, i'm expecting an increase of 30/40k$..
Other point: My dealer told me that what we all see as a touring is in fact the new R... hope not
I heard the same... the dealers had some training last year ...where they were told that new 992 R is coming soon...hope thats true!
Unfortunately Porsche is heading with its GT brand the same way as Mercedes has done with the AMG and BMW with it’s M.
But this was in inevitable, once VW acquired Porsche it was just a matter of time.
adding a rear seat option and PDK options to the GT3 touring is nothing compared to the bastardization of the once proud AMG and M lines.
Still, I agree it is a move in that direction. Porsche will have kept the faith as long as they continue to build Motorsport focused GT cars that are high revving NA, RWD, lightweight, and have manual option. So far they are and no other major company offers all that. Not one.
If i ever see a GT badge on a Porsche SUV, or a regular production GT3 cabriolet, (not limited edition speedster) then I’ll leave the brand forever.
