I got the wheel installed. Just as some context:

1) GT Sport wheel with 360mm reduced diameter over normal wheel
2) Modified by RRS Motorsports with thicker rim all the way around, Carrera Red pointe-crosse stitching and 10mm Carrera Red band at top of wheel
3) Leather steering column with Carrera Red deviated stitching from Exclusive Option
4) Replaced the black outer trim which is how the GT Sport wheel is setup with the silver outer trim from the GT3 RS or GT4 steering wheels to create a look where all the spokes are fully metal in appearance and not a mix of metal and matte black plastic.

Overall I am super happy with the upgrade:
1) It looks stunning and it is unique. I haven't seen any Porsche wheel the same as this yet.
2) RRS Motorsport did a very nice job with the modifications. I love the thicker rim which feels superb. The workmanship is also as good as Porsche OEM.
3). Also the short throw paddles are amazing.

Part numbers:
Steering Wheel (leather 991.2 with paddles, no mf, no SC, plain black rim with black stitching): 9P1-419-091-FD-A34
Silver outer trim piece for steering wheel: 95B-419-732-GT8
Leather Airbag for Macan (works with 991 as well): 95B-880-201-A-A34

I absolutely love the all silver spokes. I never knew you could replace the outers as well. Wow!

This is a homerun in all aspects. Please post the link of the place who did the steering wheel modification.

This is taking things to a whole new level. Nicely executed

Did you buy the original steering wheel and have it sent out for modifications? Did you get the RS wheel?

My steering wheel all the sudden seems so juvenile

Looks awesome! Congrats. If I were to get a new wheel, it would be exactly this!

Do the paddles feel any different? Referring to the motion and preciseness.

The throw is shorter (is less distance to pull paddle till shift point). Go to a dealer and compare the .1 wheel to .2 wheel. The paddle throw is night and day difference.

Thanks. I'm pretty chuffed with how it came out.

For the silver spokes - it came about because I always felt the GT Sport wheel looked a bit low brow compared with the 380mm 991.2 wheel because of the black outer trim. I noticed that the GT3 RS and GT4 had a 360mm GT Sport wheel with silver outer trim. However the GT3 RS wheel is $4000 vs. $1100 for the GT Sport paddle wheel. So I bought the regular GT Sport wheel and sent that to RRS for customization. Separately with the help of @shadow993 I got the part number for the silver trim. The dealer then swapped the trim at the time of install.

The part number of the silver trim is:
95B-419-732-GT8

The brand new trim cost $77.33 shipped from whichever Porsche parts dealer you choose. I got it from OEM Vehicle Parts for a 30% discount on MSRP.

Thanks for the info. So the trim was put on by the dealer? I assume maybe just some sort of locking push tabs that hold it in place?

No idea. Dealer did the whole thing. From what i understand it is quick and easy.

I couldn't figure out how to disassemble it. I wish I had because shadow993 wants to know the part numbers for the metal inserts on the GT Sport wheel. I asked dealer but they forgot to check.

BTW for those wondering, dealer price for the work was $305 which included the following tasks:
1) Installing the leather steering column
2) Installing new wheel and airbag
3) Replacing the driver side mirror with an aspherical Euro mirror.

Seems like a worthy change.

Mirror is a fantastic upgrade. I'm very pleased with it. I was testing it on highway and it completely eliminates the blindspot. BTW I know how to adjust the mirrors, so even with the mirrors properly adjusted there is a blindspot on the 991. The aspherical mirror eliminated that.

I think I am going to get the passenger side one done too.

^^ great insurance against a costly mistake. The blind spot is terrible. Also bad in the Macan by the way.

That is good...I mean that's crazy and such a bad buisness decision. What they're saying is no we don't want $$ unless we get the opportunity to charge you what we like/overcharge you likely for the pleasure of installing OEM parts on YOUR car? That's crazy. Yeah go somewhere else if you can...the wait will suck but its better not to reward bad business/dealers. IMHO

No I got the work done by them as indicated by the results above.

The manager clearly had a change of heart after we discussed it. He also gave me a free 2017 Porsche calendar as a gift.

I see...I see. Awesome! Makes my 991.2 GT wheel I got look a bit plain. Wish I could have gotten say silver/gray stitching and extra padding with my wheel when I did my swapout. Agree with all others...love the paddles and definitely better throw than what I've seen on my 997.1 w/PDK previously. Congrats bro!
