I got my gt sport wheel today and when I held it up against my 991.2 MF wheel it is barely smaller I don't see a 20mm difference. I may not keep it, it's a lot for $1k. For some reason I thought it was like my RS wheel but the RS wheel feel smaller

^^ RS wheel should be the same.

3/4" diameter diff not that much overall, but noticeable.

RS wheel is the same.

I can notice the difference. My phone is mounted to the left of the PCM screen. Before the whole phone was obscured by the wheel, now half of it is obscured so it indicates a small change in width of wheel.

Also regarding feel it does not feel spongy. I think it might have a soft touch but it is firm like most leather steering wheels. Feels same as my AMG steering wheel.

Another pic. I really think the all silver spokes lends a more industrial look in keeping with the Porsche brand!

Really a gorgeous wheel. How does the diameter compare to the base 991 wheel? I feel that wheel is rather large coming from an Audi with a small but thick-rimmed flat-bottom wheel.

Cheers,
NF

So guys have an idea, here's a pic of my wheel which is the OEM version which Stealth got before his mods to it. Added outer silver trim and got it reupholstered with also a thicker diameter.

I think I am going to get the passenger side one done too.
Can you post part numbers for these? Would love to put them on my Cabrio....blind spots are horrible.

Guys, great thread - love what you are doing, especially the all-silver Turbo S wheel. Here is my MACarbon carbon insert and 911R inserts on my 991RS.
I have a Macan with alcantara wheel coming soon - anyone know the part # for the black plastic main part of the wheel versus the chrome that comes with it? It is the heated multifunction but want to eliminate the chrome if possible.
Thx
Jeff

No part numbers, but here is the Suncoast link for the mirrors.

Note that Suncoast is charging MSRP on these mirrors. You can get it for 30% off elsewhere. I don't know all the part numbers (and Suncoast doesn't publish to prevent price shopping).

However I know the part number for the mirror I bought (which I bought off another board member). When I searched it it seems you can get it for just over $300 each.

Part number for driver's side:
99173104503

I'm trying to figure out the passenger side part number. Any help would be appreciated...

I just looked up the part number on the black plastic piece I removed from my wheel. The part number is:

95B-419-732-5Q0

For some reason it doesn't show up in search results but that is what the label on the part says.
