I would be interested in anyone's thoughts and/or pictures regarding adding the Carbon mirrors to this build. Would it add or detract? Thanks....
I was just as my Dealership for Winter/wheels/tires and they had a 991.2 with Carbon mirrors and I think Carbon Trim inside to match.
I just feel that Carbon should be used for big body panels such as the hood to save weight. I don;t think the Carbon Trim saves much weight and I really don't think it's worth it but if you do, do it, do it right and load everything up in Carbon.-Richard
BTW, I took exterior pics of the Endurance Special Edition (White) but no interior. I should really spend more time with the pics at the Dealership, they get all the Special Editions.
One last thought on Options such as Carbon.
You can really load up the price with these Options especially if you do PTS(LTS).
I would rather consider putting that extra money into a TTS.
I don't have a TTS because I don't want a fixed rear wing for the winter.
But I do model using 3-D the interior and exterior and pay attention to the visual effect to please me.
So all my exterior bits are keyed off the Gloss Black rear engine cover. But only the wheels and washers are Gloss, the rest is standard matt black. Interior is standard leather with leather covered trim and Carmine Red Vent Trim for a little interior bling! I don't like the interior aluminum trim at all.
Wanted a SC trim ring in Carmine Red but Exclusive said 'no-go'.
I also don't do after-market, at all.

Posted this in another thread, too. I like this photo below taken at the dealership while I was receiving the keys.

I thought a few posts ago I wouldn't post again, but it seems I like seeing what others are ordering and reading about their choices, too.

Dan, if I may be so brazen, that is a good looking Butt you have

I have decided on the dealer installed items for mine. Doing a Ceramic Paint clear coat, a clear vinyl wrap up to the doors, including mirrors and A Pillars, a fully integrated radar/laser detector/jammer with display embedded in the rear view mirror. Which brings my grand total (in Canuck Bucks) to just north of 270K.

Greeting Thomas!

Your build looks good to me. The Silver on Black is classic Porsche, it will look just great. Good thing they don't change the Porsche Codes on the build sheet, at least that way I could figure out what you ordered.

It looks great! I'm hoping to have delivery about the same time... your configuration looks good. Now to hurry up and wait. An appropriate expression for the next few months. Cheers!

Wow, is that an option your dealer offers?

Yes they do. The attached image is from the sell sheet on the system. I went with the 10A option. The install is very discreet, all wires hidden, and the small control panel is in the ashtray area, I went with the smoker option specifically to get a cover for that area. Not cheap by any means, but I like that is so well integrated, and the installs I have seen on other 911's have been done in an expert manner. I will post more detailed pictures of both the interior and how the various external bits are mounted, once I get the car.

Well, when you are moving on to our next one please let me know. This one will be so well preserved it will be like new years down the road!

Radar detectors are illegal here, and the cruisers have a detection device to spot the car if you're using one. They can confiscate the detector, and in this case, might rip it out of the dash. I use an Escort with a sticky cup when traveling out of state. It's fine for me, especially with the convenient plug under the dash on the center console.
