Now going on day #11 with the car sitting at the distribution center in Davisville RI. Something is fishy and I suspect damage to the car. The dealership is still blaming it on the snow storm from February 8th. I understand that bad weather can cause some delays but were going on two weeks. Any advice or thoughts?

Tracking the GoodWood - ship that is supposed to leave Emden today. It was late arriving . . so I think that the Jax arrival on 3/3 may slip.
We live on Amelia Island, and was hoping to have for the Concours on March 12.
Looking a bit dubious at the moment. .
Cheers all. . we are hanging on together!!

So just got off the phone with my SA. It seems that all 911 models that have recently come into port at Davisville are all being held for an unknown reason. Not a single one has been released in the last 1-2 weeks. All other Porsche models have been shipping out in a quick and timely manner. The GM also made a call to processing and can assure me with 100% certainty that my car is completely fine without any damage, which does make me feel a little better.
I wonder what the hold up can be?

Maybe some sort of regulatory/EPA thing? But one would think that would be a country wide issue. There have not been a lot of RL USA deliveries in the past two weeks. At least not that I have noticed.
Good Luck, I hope whatever it is gets cleared up very quickly.

The (sadistically) humorous part.... I think mine hits the dealer while I'm at PEC in ATL for a weekend with some friends driving their Turbo/GT3's.... will be an awesome weekend, but will be painful knowing mine is so close but yet so far away!
