You have to go! My favorite Eclipses are the Coffee, Rye Whiskey (I haven't tried the Rye Cuvee yet but have a bottle from this year) and the Grand Cru.

I saw the car and drove----Nice car but Still not sure the wheels are correct and from the factory as a special order----

Car has had front bumper respray---but otherwise was a good car.

The salesman was very proud of the rear spoiler and left it up parked...my favorite look

Their best deal was selling at advertised price---no deals in SoCal

Cheers

What is the best way to tell a bumper has been resprayed? Is it mainly complete lack of chips/dings?

I check for a couple signs---The first, like you mentioned---not a single mark on bumper or spoiler---not possible...lol....the car did not have clear bra or PPF.

The second for me is to check in direct sunlight check for tape lines(overspray from bumper respray)

Third---I feel the the paint---it was not perfectly smooth---some orange peel effect--the factory paint is smooth as ice----

It was not a big enough deal to say the car isn't great---It is---but is not perfect

Cheers

Thanks, this is helpful. I was not aware of the 2nd and 3rd way. So, when they respray the bumper, they don't take it off? If not, where would the overspray typically be - the closest portion of hood and front quarter panel?

You are welcome---I should point out that these are all just steps and not in any particular order---the third point(orange peel) if present, basically eliminates the other steps...

I feel the surrounding paint surfaces and in bright, direct sunlight I can usually see very faint over spray lines on the hood and fenders---most "quick" bumper resprays are done with the bumper on the car, not removed----much cheaper and quicker and the over spray travels beyond the "quick tape job"

A good respray demands a bumper removal IMO....

If a bumper respray passes my novice 3 step evaluation process, then I consider it to be acceptable and not a big enough point to not purchase the car.

Cheers

The car drove exceptionally well---the sound of the GTS is different than a 911S even when the S has PSE-----the pitch and character of the intake and exhaust is higher and less boom/drone---I have an 991 S with PSE---this sounded better

Actually the best way to tell is to check with the HFS Rennlist thread/forum---

The HFS forum has better intelligence and evidence gathering abilities than any CIA or any government agency---STG and his operatives probably have video evidence of the actual paint respray in process from a Street cam or someone's Dash Cam that happened to be driving by during the respray----at least one GT3 RS owner can attest to the power of rennlist forum intelligence.

Cheers

I'm fairly certain we got it from a Ring doorbell recording across the street.
