Hi - ..biggest pet peeve being that there isn't a direct "mute" button and it takes couple of clicks through sound/option to get there but otherwise it works very well.
Don't know why but i like the mute option for known parts of certain routes i take. The obvious benefit is the 3.8L/PSE unadulterated symphony.
There is a direct mute. Just push the left side button on the PCM module and the sound is muted. Push again or change the volume and the sound comes back on. Push and hold the left side button and the screen blacks out and PCM is put into a standby mode.
How wild that HFS will hit 1,000,000 views by its 2 year anniversary on March 16th!! What timing.
Sooooooo ...... MANY viewers here compared to # that actually post. Maybe on March 16th, all the lurkers and followers can post a few words to see how many one day posts we can get?? With daily views hitting almost 2K on some days, imagine getting like 1K posts on one day?? Time to crash Rennlist or HFS!!
I just want to say thank you to the guys/gals who dig up the deals in this thread. I'm one of the viewers you mentioned above who never posts. I bet I've opened this thread hundreds of times by now.
I was originally looking for a CPO 4S, but I actually just went a tiny bit insane and bought a CPO '15 TTS instead at 60k off the sticker. Whoever ordered it really ran up the leather stitching options among other things, I'm guessing not much of that factored in at trade-in time based on what I am paying.
Looking forward to learning more, but just wanted to say thanks for the help!
^^^^ AgainstAllOdds, congrats. As long as you found "the one", that's all that matters. Can't beat $60K off. You did learn a lot. Congrats again and thanks for posting!
It's always nice to hear from new guys that follow frequently but never post. There are so many stories that we never hear of unfortunately.
So we have like 8,000 posts, by maybe 500 Rennlisters if we're lucky, and almost 1,000,000 views. Crazy.
Looking at the 991 prices right now, and demand, I shouldn't have sold my 991 C2S Aerokit last fall for $72,500! 2013, 13k miles, $127k build. I had zero interest in that car, although people certainly enjoyed looking at it...
