Quite a few gts's popping up a number now under 110k. Not sure what the productions numbers were, but looks like the short term guys are moving on to the next thing.

There's still downside left to them. Agree, more popping up. Many owners of these cars flip and move along often many times. Not primary cars many times and many guys don't hold onto them long. Fall/Winter is upon us. Should be some new cars popping up!

The GTS is a long term keeper in my opinion as are the other 991.1's.

I agree 100%. The next 18-24 months should be good pickings for picking up a nice HFS CPO in my opinion.

Does anyone have access to Manheim Wholesale Dealer Auction Value Reports? I'd really like to see what auction values are on some of these cars...

eg: 2012.5 911S 30K miles, 2013 911S 25K miles, etc.

I typically trust clearbook.truecar.com more than most other 'consumer' pricing estimators, but they seem to be overly optimistic on 991 generation cars with a huge variation from NADA pricing and I suspect Manheim.

I really like the Rennsport GTS, but still !!! Can anyone say bubble?

You can even buy a GT3RS for like $15-$20K over sticker or so now. A lot less than $289K! What would you rather have?

I really like this car, too -- beautiful. But the price is a bit crazy, of course. On eBay as "buy it now" the same car is on for $248500. I guess when you can't really figure out what the price is anymore then it's really a bubble...

I'm not sure if this will help you at all, but in April I bought a 2013 911 Carrera S with 42,000 miles for $68k from an independent exotic car dealer. I did a lot of research and think I scored pretty well.

Original sticker was $119,085
Platinum Silver / Black Standard
PDK
PASM
PDLS
Sport Chrono
Premium Plus
SportDesign Steering Wheel
White Gauge Faces
Bose Audio

Interior looks new, body is ~9/10 - no door dings or dents, only some road wear on hood and small paint scratch on rear bumper. Wheels needed to be refinished.

I've since added PSE and NavTV backup camera.

They sold pretty quick. Within a matter of days. Yes that was around the MSRP.

They will hold value. Now over $200K? That's another story. Only worth what someone is willing to pay. Some of these dealers are just listing irrational numbers for cars.

We are due for a huge financial correction soon. All the signs are there. Have cash on hand, and deals will be there when it happens. The auto market is in a huge bubble along with many other things.
