HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991

Well it's around $32K off of MSRP and has a warranty through March, 2020. It's a driver's car with manual, PSE, SC, etc.
Looks clean too.
What I didn't like were the miles. 12,000 miles for a two year old 911S just seemed high. Granted, that's 6K miles a year which is peanuts in the real world but extensive in the Porsche world. If it had maybe 5 or 6K miles it might be more of a deal.
I've definitely seen better deals in this thread and think this one will come down.

New here! Seeking 2012 991 "S" coupe
I hope I'm doing this correctly.
My goals is a an S,PDK Sports chrono,CPO,as well optioned as possible.
Oddly,I see them from $60s to nearly $80, what the heck is a fair number?
I'm guessing these cars are reliable.right?
QUOTE=STG;12124293]As others have suggested, I like looking at used cars and run across some that look like good deals.
Have no interest or anything in the game with these. If I like the car and think it's a decent deal and worth looking at I'll post it. All will be under 100K
Hopefully some guys looking at a used 991 can benefit!
I was once in that boat last year.[/QUOTE]

I am looking for 911s also.
As my observation
You can find 13s around $74K to $80K. 14s are around $79K to high 80s.
May be you can find high mileage or 2012.5 under $70K,

He dropped to $83.5K as a final price?
What is your opinion?

If it's local and you don't have to pay for transport & you're happy inspecting it in person .... I'd counter $82K. Trust me, you're probably the only serious offer he's gotten. Offer to close the deal quick. Each day it sits, is costing him $$$. It's depreciating $1K a month.

Nothing is final until there's a deal

Welcome Mike!
The MSRP's on a Carrera S can run from $112K to $150K+ depending on build and options.
In the secondary market, used prices are based off of original MSRP.
What is your max budget? If around $80K or low 80's, you'll have lots to choose from and be saving $30-$40K off MSRP with 15K miles or less. Many times under 10K miles.
Maybe get a few "wants" listed. Like color, transmission, coupe/cab, etc.... With where you are, you should be looking at the whole US market. Many guys here have a good pulse in the current inventory out there and will most likely offer some good options.

Pretty much fits my 991 search wish-list except for full leather (SPASM, PDK, SC, SE), one of my preferred colors, and the year/price-point I was targeting... Going to call them tomorrow and hopefully make this one mine. Hopefully I'm not fighting anyone else here for it! :-)
I've never purchased a Porsche CPO car before... What are the thoughts on needing an independent PPI on a 9K mile CPO car from a Porsche dealer?

PPI? Probably not going to turn up anything. I'd get the details on the car first, lock it up, and you can think about a PPI afterwards if wanting to play it safe.
