A slip here that the 991.2 GTS will be turbocharged as I've claimed. The 991.1 GTS last of the NA's.
The GT cars (GT3/GT3RS/911R) will stay NA in the foreseeable future. Nice hearing AP point out the desirable characteristics of an NA engine. Looks like the 991.2 GT3 will have a 6 speed manual option too. That will be one hot commodity.
Last of the "street" Carrera NA's are the 991.1's posted here. Last of an era.

Hot for Sale is celebrating its 1yr anniversary on March 16th.
Approaching 300K views and closing in on the #1 all time viewed thread on the 991 forum. Maybe we can reach that milestone by March 16th. Only 29K more views to go.
Have any buddies looking at 991's or like to look at the used market? Send them a link to this thread.
Happy car hunting guys. Hopefully a few new purchases coming up soon.

Burning Brakes
My wife loves my 991! she really loves how the PSE sounds. I have a C2S
with the power kit and PSE and I must admit that it does sound great. This is coming from a guy whose last 911 was a GT3 which my wife hated. She hated it because she thought that it was too expensive and she was afraid to drive it. She also hated when the brakes would squeal. My
c2s's brakes does not squeal at all, but its exhaust note sounds great. Anyone else with a similar experience?

Good perspective ^^^^
The GT3 is a GREAT car.
Some things which don't work for all buyers. No back seats, no cabs or sunroofs, no manual, no Burmester , lower stance, and the exhaust note isn't as aggressive as the Carrera PSE in the lower RPM's. More subdued. Nothing beats the 9K redline though. That scream is heaven. The GT3 doesn't "come alive" until the higher RPM range or the track. That's where it feels at home.
The GT3 values are still very strong at the current time. Buying a loaded S model for $70-90K is very attractive vs. spending $150K+ on a GT3.
I love them all! Regardless what car you have, hard to reach either cars full potential on the streets when you can be breaking speed limits in second gear
Anyway. Don't want to turn this into a huge GT3 discussion. Read that board. Lots of entertainment there with dealer mark ups, 918 VIP programs, speculators, flippers, and scarce allocations.

PTS GTS for sale
Not sure if it qualifies for a "hot buy" as its only 10 k off Msrp
But ran across this today, PTS (mint green?)

More pics on autotrader. Someone went through the arduous process of getting PTS, then traded it in with less than 2000 miles on it.

Yeah I talked to the dealer it looks nice. No pdcc, pse though. Hopefully no accidents but I like the front and rear wing. It was a launch car, you think porsche added the items after the building or the next owner? The sales person claimed it was launch editio and front a and rear were different didn't sound accurate to me. If I was in Florida i would have test driven. Maybe pse was magically added too
Hope to get one of these by late summer early fall. Value is great at 60k considering 996 turbos and even auto 997 turbos, and some 997 s and gts are in yhe same range and usually +-10k with performance similar ish plus more lux and tech looks like a good bargain honestly. Looking fwd to joining u all soon.
If you all see any other smoking 991 S or 4s around 60k like this with the right options lmk know happy hunting

On the Guards Red car, the Sport Design package (bumper and duck), and PSE were added by the owner. Not the factory. The sales guy is clueless.
Overall, a nice bonus if done well! An approx $11K value not on the build sheet!

A few car mods don't mean an accident.
I wouldn't be too concerned about resale if its a quality job. This car is already in the low 60K's. In another handful of years, the bigger concerns are how it's been maintained, miles, and price. If the car was one year old it would be a bigger concern in my opinion.

It's $40K off MSRP, but 30K miles.
