Bemo, nice job! Go bold or go home! Goes to show, deals to be had on new cars that are a year old on dealer lots. I just negotiated a great lease deal on a 2016 Macan S now that the 2017's are on the lots.
Thanks for sharing Bemo!

My serious search is on hold now anyway, the static nationwide inventory led me to take a break and prioritize getting a new home with a pool instead. I am hopeful that inventory will get more liquid as 991.1 leases continue to return and as people get more used to the 991.2 and begin trading for them. Of course, now that I am committed to the home purchase, the perfect deal will surface

The crazy thing is we're doing 48 state searches here and still coming up short! Finding something within an hour of ones home isn't likely!
Once I was taking a flight to go see a car. Was seated next to a nice woman of around the same age. She thought it was crazy to be flying somewhere to look for a pre-owned car. The reality of the fact, with these cars you can leave no stone unturned. Transporting a car is cheap. Even enclosed delivery. Small price to pay for a great find.

All,
I'm really close on closing a car and just realized that it doesn't have Bose. I totally missed that fact as almost every model seems to come wi Bose standard today. I'm about to start my research, but what is the difference in sound between the Bose stereo and the standard one? I know the Bose has additional watts and a subwoofer, but acoustically, what is the difference?
Does it matter on a cabriolet?
Eric

I think the market is being propped up right now due to the time of year, its spring! This time of year people buy off emotion when the temps start to rise and they want to be driving a Porsche for the summer months. Historically this is the worst time of year to get a good price on a sports car, behind summer. If you're truly looking for a hot deal, I would think October-February would be the best time when inventory doesn't move as fast.

To be honest with you guys, seeing cars sell through seasons, I haven't seen much fluctuation in price. Only fluctuations I see are amount of nice cars for sale.

My old car. It has a minor carfax from before I bought it, but I paid for that for you. The paint is flawless. If it still has the old clear bra on it, that could be improved on, but it also has CQuartz Finest and a brand new sport steering wheel. It truly is a perfect car if you can get by the carfax. Selling dealer told me that only the rear plastic undertray had been replaced and no paint work, but they may have lied about that, as they sprung it on me at the last minute as we were closing my 2nd Porsche purchase of the day. ( I did not buy it there, I bought it at Hennessey in atlanta)
I only got rid of it because the base seats were uncomfortable/painful for me.

New member here. I've been looking and reading and have a question. I've found 2 with the aero package/"whale tail" which is the look i prefer. Both seem priced high $91K for a 2014 S with @ 21,000 miles and $95K for a 2014 4s with 11,000 miles. Is this package extremely desirable or rare to justify the higher price? How do I find the original sticker MSRP with the vin #. I've used the decoder link but it doesn't seem to give the exact MSRP just confirms color, model, etc
