Because I like to hook up my buddies. Rare occasion I post anything but a 991, but I can get away with it. 2016 Macan's with killer lease or purchase options. Close to 10% off MSRP depending on the build. As you know, a lot of dealers barely discount Macan's. I picked up one for a daily driver. They also have some nice base Cayenne's.
Message me for contact info. In the Midwest. Just an FYI. A leased car can be returned to ANY Porsche dealer. Don't have to take it back to the dealer you got it from.
A lot of 16's got backed up at port and now overlapped with 17's.
[QUOTE=STG991;13174095]A good point of reference for depreciation on your average 991. I got this chart from our buddy Tony77.
whoa whoa STG991 that is my data haha What else would expect from an Apple engineer. After selling my 997 GT3 I was looking at buying a 991 and trying to justify the depreciation to my girlfriend. She thought that a 991 would be much too expensive and the value would drop like a rock, not the case for a early model. I did some research of the 991's vs the 997.2's, in my opinion a STG991 recommended CPO 991 is the route to go. I ended up buying my girlfriend a Audi Q5 for her to daily drive and now I'm looking for a 964. Once I need a daily driver, I'll pick up a 991.
Brain K, glad you chimed in. Tony said he had found it somewhere and saved it. Was giving him credit for providing it to me, but you're the man! I do recall it now. Did you post it here??
Nice job. Tell your girlfriend the guys know what's up here. The great purchase stories and popularity of this thread speaks for itself.

This thread almost sold me on a 991 when I was only considering 997.2's at the time. Great work and keep it up, we all appreciate it. Now if you know of any clean 964's that need a new home, point them in my direction
List is $110,5xx and first dealer offer is $73.5. It is a base, but quite loaded, PSE,PDE, SC, Sunroof, painted S wheels, full leather, but no 14 way seats. CPO is good till June, 2020. Price is 34% off.

I'm looking to pick up,my first Porsche and have done a ton of research. This vehicle meets almost all of my checklist items, although i was thinking about a C4S.
So really between now and 2017 we are in sweet spot for 991.1 prices and values
Where's the comparable chart for the 997.2 and also how does the 992 possibly impact this if at all, that's expected what 2019ish?
Next generation won't be until 2021/2022. Sounds like a Jetson's episode. Yikes.
Anything regarding future values is all speculation. Kinda like the stock market. You can do past/current/short term charts. Knowing what 991 prices will be after 2021 is only speculation at this point. At some point I "think" some 997.2's and 991.1's will have a nice place in 911 desirability in 20+ yrs.
Question I thought would be relevant for this thread - does a CPO warranty on a Porsche carry over to a new owner?
I read in a few threads I looked at that it would only in the case of a private sale (i.e. from the person who originally got the CPO), so the specific question(s) I'm seeking clarification on is - does it carry over when:
- A CPO car is now being sold by a non-Porsche dealer (e.g. carmax or an audi dealer)?
- A CPO car is now being sold by a different Porsche dealer than originally did the CPO?
- A CPO car is being sold with a break in the chain from the original person who got the CPO (e.g. another private sale or another dealer (Porsche or not) in between?
Sorry if covered on this thread before, but some conflicting views I've read elsewhere.

- A CPO car is being sold with a break in the chain from the original person who got the CPO (e.g. another private sale or another dealer (Porsche or not) in between? As long as the car is still within the CPO warranty period: Private YES. Porsche dealer YES. Non-Porsche dealer NO.
