HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991

Personally I don't trust any of these car sites algorithms to accurately determine value. Look at this car https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/5...-74188b78f228/ which cars.com rates as a great buy. It was in an accident with airbags deployed!

Just my 2 cents, but I disagree. I spent $72.5k for a 2012 C2S with nice options and 30k miles earlier this year, and I only got it because I called 30 minutes before they opened after they had posted it the night before. $70-75k is the typical going rate for a Carrera S. Racing yellow sits for awhile because a lot of people don't like that color, but blue appeals to a much wider net.
If you want that car, i'd move quick because at <$70k I think it'll sell almost immediately.

This is why every time I consider selling my 13 C2S I have remind myself why I would regret it

Go for it, or someone else will make an offer. There are a lot of 991s out there, but not many the way you want the build. The CPO seals the sale. Good luck!

They tried to force me to commit to taking full ownership since they said there was so much interest in the car already, but I refused to buy a car without seeing it in person. So fate will guide this one if the dealer decides to backstab me and sell it from underneath.
Finally came to a place where I was ready to let my 2015 911 C4S cab go. Sold to a dealer to avoid the headaches of private sale, but this one was a gem. Ad doesn't tell half the story, had the 40k major done on time last fall and car is flawless. Posting here as she deserves a good home. Loaded dark blue metallic, orig MSRP $144k.

So far it's mine. I got the deposit in and signed the purchase and sale agreement with an inspection contingency. The dealer isn't too happy about having to wait for me to do my due diligence since I can't fly out until late in the week.

my dealer took the car to the Porsche dealer for a PPI for me, and not just that but they pulled strings to get it done sooner rather than later
This has gotta be a scam right? They ask for a deposit and then disappear I imagine. Or they have no clue they have and it's the deal of the century. https://www.truecar.com/used-cars-fo...BA2A95FS245002
Yeah there's something fishy going on. They also listed a 2015 Turbo for $47,000 and 2015 C4S for $64,500 at the same time. Unless someone has specific experience with this place, I'd avoid. All the VINs seemed to be locked behind VINAnalytics' advanced decoder, which I've never seen before

Scammers have been posting a lot of too good to be true deals on truecar recently.

Damn are these guys off their rocker. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/a...paign=atempest
Base Carrera, 40k miles, listed at $75k. Supposedly with a stage 2 engine swap to the 3.8 L but they don't provide a single photo of said engine. Supposedly a built with track duty in mind but no Sport Chrono, no PASM, no PDCC. Absolutely wild imo

This looks like a pretty good deal if someone is looking for a cab. If it were a coupe I'd be on a plane this weekend I imagine...

I've been in the market for a yellow MT C2S 991.1 for quite a while now (~70kUSD, clean title+carfax). I even posted in one of the fb groups if anyone had one for sale. I was told it's easier to find a unicorn. And then this popped up:

I find the price a bit steep even though it has the X51 retrofitted. What do you guys think?
