I agree 50,000 miles is not a big deal on these cars, particularly on a 9 year old 911 that's been cared for properly. Further, IMO, given inflated used car market, you ask the wrong question w/r/t the 4S. No way it's "worth the high 70s" (For reference, in March 2017 I paid $79K for a CPO'd 2013 aqua blue metallic 4S with <15,000 miles, full leather, PDCC, front sports fascia, PP+ and a bunch of other goodies. I now have 54,000 miles on it.) But is it worth the same price as a car with half the mileage, lesser performance features, standard interior (the full leather interior + Burmester in the 4S will be a very nice place to sit!) and 2 wheel drive??
Unless you are freaked out buying a car for high $70s w/50K miles on it, or want the experience of a 2 wheel drive 911 (there is quite a difference in seat of the pants feel between all wheel and rear wheel 911s - not to mention the pendulum swing you can coax from rear wheel drive on a slippery surface), I'd go for the 4S. YMMV, of course.
Have fun with which ever one you buy!

Ha, yeah I haven't had a front plate on any of my cars in a long time. Hopefully it's not one of those "drilled into the bumper" deals. Otherwise, I guess for once I'll be legal.
Put the deposit on the car for the time being and it is being reconditioned. I'll get the full report on the work they've done. Once it arrives, I'm taking it straight to the Porsche mechanic in town to do a thorough run down. Knock on wood, hopefully nothing major so I don't need to use that 7 day return policy.

Here is a nice car that is up for auction and will be done in about 4 hours - Cab, 18 way seats, sport Chrono, sport exhaust, etc. I have no connection to the sale so I am not vouching for the car, etc

car is in pristine condition. purchased CPO in 2016 from paul miller porsche with 50k miles. i am the second owner. i've loved every minute of owning this car but the car simply doesnt get driven enough as the mileage clearly indicates. i never drove the car once we got into 40's which in NYC burbs typically means nov latest. serviced at very reputable indy shop Rennwerke.
i dont know if this car qualifies as a hot for sale but with prices firm and manuals so hard to come by, i thought i'd post to alert those that might care.
i will post link to listing once we go live.
thanks.
