Absolutely right. Why sell a car in the US for $1 profit when you can sell the same car somewhere else and make $2. They (and the other luxury brands) are sending product east first and west second.

The only people making the extra $$$ in those countries are the governments collecting the taxes and tariffs not Porsche.

Would be interesting to see sales of 718's and 911's globally for 2016.

I really don't think they're selling so many more worldwide that it's cutting US supply. I think it's more of a demand issue. Who's having a problem finding 991.2's??

Let's find some 991.1's now! Any new ones?

It sure seems like they are selling more than they can make when the wait is about 5 months. A better question might be how many sales are not getting done because people look elsewhere rather than wait.

In a mater of minutes found two 991.2 allocations. One locks in a couple weeks. Dec build and delivers in Jan 2017 to a southeast dealer.

Another southern dealer in TX has a few open allocations too without long waits.

Allocations are tight and don't expect much discounting.

Want one? PM me. Just passing the info along. Obviously, live out of state you'll need to ship it home. No big deal.

991.2 sales are under projections, and Porsche has cut back production. They don't want to flood the market, and are also conscious of wanting strong resale values to support the new MSRP's. Opposite of what we chase and highlight here. They must not be fans of our "advertising the depreciation". Good news for current 991.1 owners that bought pre-owned, these are indeed keepers. Last NA

997.2's are holding strong as are 991.1's now. I'm predicting there's not much downside left guys.

Porsche model "make one less car than the market demands". They have it figured out and know what they're doing.

2014 C4S with Powerkit and $60K in options FS at $94K. No Carfax on the site, but might be a good deal for someone who likes Guards: http://www.specialtysales.com/vehicles/2014-10269. $165K MSRP but no Premium Package Plus. Chrono is not listed but is in the pics - included in Powerkit?

18-Ways with leather backs and deviated stitching. So much deviated stitching!

Which is?? Yes, I've been slowly buying 100's of 991.1's and putting them in storage waiting for me to drive up the market and sell them at huge profits!! Only if they have the desirable PSP though!

I just do research and report the FACTS. Some might not like them, but not my issue.

I have one 991.1 C2S and could care less what the value does. Not banking on it for an investment or retirement. It's a toy! Never buy cars thinking they won't lose $$$$. A swing of $20-$30K in value means nothing to me. I can make money faster than it would take my magical powers to influence the pre-owned market by making comments here.

Only reason I spend time here is to help educate guys and have a place where potential buyers can find nice cars. Very simple. Ask the many who it's helped!

Enough of this now. Let's move on.

*Still waiting for PM's asking about getting a 991.2 allocation. I've received ZERO messages.

New to our Pleasanton showroom is this simply gorgeous 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S 2 Door Coupe with Guards Red exterior paint and a black leather interior. This one comes to you completely loaded with a naturally aspirated 4.0L V-6 engine under the hood with a seven-speed automatic transmission and packed with an extra $60 in factory options like Dynamic Chassis Control, and Aerokit cup and the PASM sport suspension. This one had a factory MSRP of $165,350 and it is in incredible condition.
Holy cow, it comes with a 4.0L V-6!!!!!! A unicorn if I ever saw one, for a C4S! And under the hood! Yikes!

J/k. Very nice build! Love all the deviated stitching...
