All Porsche Centre prices would include ‘Porsche tax’, so will generally be higher than prices at independent or non-Porsche dealerships. Some folks get more peace of mind when buying from a Porsche Centre though. The length & quality of any warranty included also needs to be taken into account.

I have bought two of my four 911"s from dealers - and I tend to do quite a bit of research on price and features as well as demanding an independent PPI. I agree with the statement above that while I do not believe the dealers can offer huge discounts, I do think they have been able to offer fair pricing.
BTW - one dealer was a Porsche dealer and one was an independent dealer. Good experiences with both and no regrets.
I have only bought "as is" 911s with no warranty so have never returned to the dealer for any service or parts purchase (with the exception of a couple of "free" car washes). And all cars were as advertised - no gotchas.

Definitely agree with this. And dealers are usually more lenient about correcting things that you notice on the vehicle within, say, the first 30 days (or after a test drive). Strangely, I found both of my Porsche's on the used lot of different Jeep dealers.
Trying to get some help on 991.2
Hey guys,
Have a lot of friends and reading about people anticipating a decline on the 991.2 pricing due to inflation and recession. I’m having a hard time understanding what is a good deal in this market.
Currently looking at a white 991.2 T. Has 12k miles. Original MSRP of 114. No T interior accent colors.
Dealer is asking 105k and will CPO the vehicle.
Another red one just hit market, with the special T interior in red, and few other options in a manual transmission. No sunroof. MSRP is 117 and it’s CPO but they are asking for 115. Has 15k miles.
I’ve read multiple post about some hating on the T and understand it’s pretty much a base with some modifications for weight, etc. I just really like the different interior touches lol. What are your guys thoughts on pricing for these? Is it worth waiting to see a small drop in pricing if there will even be a drop on 911s?

Are you looking for a PDK or manual Carrera T?
I have a 2019 Carrera T with 7-speed manual for sale. It was listed here about 1.5 months ago but the sale didn’t go through with the buyer. It has about 7500 miles on the odometer. It‘s CPO until 1/2025. See the link below for options.

guess I need to build my rep up. In terms of manual vs pdk, doesn’t matter much to me. Been looking at PDKs because my wife won’t learn manual haha.
In general, it’s hard to understand the market right now and what is a discount from MSRP on 2018-2019 used cars. Been also looking at 991.2 S models.

In regards to market values, I'm not an expert historian, but my understanding is that many Ts sold for ~10% off MSRP originally (so, people paid $100K-$120K new), they depreciated to $80K+ before the pandemic, and now they're selling in the $100K-$120K range. They will probably go back down but keep in mind the dollar itself has lost ~15% of its value due to inflation in the last 3 years. So $90K in 2019 dollars is $104K in 2022 dollars. You probably won't see the Ts fall sharply to the $65K-$80K range they'd be at if we hadn't had a pandemic and inflation.

If you don't care about the T's performance features and you're planning to buy a PDK, you might find that a base Carrera is a better value.

A friend of mine is selling this one. It was a daily driver, so it has some miles, but it is very clean and well cared for. https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2...1-carrera-s-6/
I like the non sunroof
One for 115, yes you are overpaying. I would offer 110. To me the T embodies what a 911 is all about, basic raw connection. With my experience I would never own a VW/audi product with a sunroof. Also, a manual belongs in a proper sports car if thats what your after. The wife not being able to drive it is a huge bonus. If my SO wrecked my S im not sure thats forgivable. After warranty expires apply a tune and get 100 more free horses. It will be like getting a new car all over again in 3 years. A two-fer if you will.
