@Dkk16 there don't seem to be any pics attached. You should include the build sheet if you haven't.

Honestly, I think you need to be in the low $80’s for people to be interested. Good test would be to bring it to CarMax and see what they’ll offer you. Take that number and add 3-5k on top of it. That should give you an accurate picture of the market. FWIW, if you’ve never sold a vehicle private party before, it’s kinda a beating. Often times it’s better just to give the car to CarMax or use it as a trade-in on the thing you want.

My experience was similar. I took my 2013 Boxster S to CarMax and was offered $38K and then the local Porsche dealer offered $40K. I was fortunate to be able to sell it through Autotrader for $46K in just a couple of weeks. I have used CarMax bids successfully several times to value a car and then set a PP price that resulted in sales. One time I had no action on an Acura sedan after 7 days and decided to accept the CarMax bid.

Found this in the marketplace. Apparently a new member who just joined to post his car for sale?
This car has the same specs and color as mine. It is really a twin to mine, except for the mileage. I think it is priced fairly, given that 997.2 prices are now in this territory. When I got mine in early 2017, I paid high $70K for it at 12,000 miles

OP didn't specify mileage (did I miss it), but low 80s, is a good place to start. So right on the beating you get from private sales. Between the scammers, tire kickers and low ballers it take patience. Add the tax benefit and your time to the price you get on a trade offer. It's not a bad tradeoff, particularly for higher value cars.

I appreciate the feedback. Miles added & price adjusted.

I have sold a few autos myself (Accord's, Tacoma's, Jeeps) and know the drill.

This is the first high end Auto I've owned. I wanted to start out at an entry level in case I didn't like it. I absolutely love it!! I looked around and found this last October at a local dealership. It was the GM's personal car & got it for $93K with 2.5K miles on it as a CPO. We are the first titled owners. I know by buying used from a dealership I'd betaking a hit, however I after looking around, I thought it was a good deal. Plus it looks super cool!!

I absolutely do not like the 992's so my options for a new 2018-2019 to trade mine is limited. I am looking hard for a new 2018-19 Cabriolet or Targa with nice specs but not much availability.

I dropped my price to 83K. From looking around & with the CPO I think it looks reasonably priced. Man, I'm not a dark color fan, but that Agate looks sharp.

List your "wants" for a Cab or Targa so we can keep an eye out: colors, PDK or manual, must have options, and price range.

Thanks for all the help in finding this car. Hubby has been enjoying it for almost three years now. Sadly, it is time to say goodbye. Hubby's traveling for work these days and it doesn't make sense to keep a car that he only drives a few days a month. Where is the best place to sell a lower-mileage (14,500-ish) 911 with manual transmission? I expect this is not a CarMax transaction like my Volvos. Trying to figure out where to start...

Thanks for any help!

Bring a Trailer is quick and easy and the buyer pays the marketing fee. I have no affiliation to them.

Just checked out the Bring a Trailer site. I think I need to keep my husband far, far away from that place!!!

Trying to figure out how to list it here. I think I need a membership...
