Drove this a couple of hours ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Never considered how much the drop top enhances the sport exhaust soundtrack!

SOLD for $76k! There are more people looking for cars that more people think, which is why I always tell people that if they find a car they like don't squabble over a few grand.

The cab on BAT brought $76k plus $5k commission so buyer paid around $81k.

@Jerry991 - $3,800 commission actually as it is 5% of the price.

Crazy good deal. Almost 50% off MSRP for a car that's almost new. And even crazier is that it was a flip. I can't understand the thinking of the guy who sold it for less than $70k.

The guy who sold it for less than $70k? Are you referring to Porsche NA who unloaded it at auction at lease-end? They weren't going to certify a car with a blem on its Carfax.

What was the blemish on the Carfax? I am extremely new to bring a trailer. With something like that with factory warranty still in place, would a PIP be advised?

It showed an accident from 1/2017 and seller confirmed paintwork had been detected on right rear quarter panel. I would want an independent pre-purchase inspection in most instances buying a used car, particularly one with known accident repairs.

I found the car on HFS in October of 16!

Awesome! Congrats, Ivy. Chester - what are your replacing it with?

So I was mistaken. Ivyplaya01 is not who bought the car. I'll update later today.
Not sure about what's next. The hunt begins

that's not an automatic disqualification from being CPO'd, depends on circumstances including who repaired the car and all. i've seen my share of CPO cars w/a carfax accident.

Also the good thing with Carfax these days, they distinguish between accident and ‘damage’ and they say how serious it was.

I would take that info with a grain of salt from many instances I've heard of. Also, it goes without saying, that a clean CarFax doesn't necessarily mean the car hasn't been wrecked or had bodywork.
