There are too many variables between build options, seller's situation and available inventory at any given time to make buying these type of cars anything too analytic.
Go with what you want for a price close to what is online everywhere and don't look back.
Right. Just how much of a killer of is it on resale to not have those options. You never know if a 991 T comes up, you may have to dump the car

don't know who's doing the listing for these guys but it was originally listed as a 4S, and now GTS. well unfortunately it's a plain ol S. but regardless it's getting picked up and delivered to me tmr. 64k out the door (not including taxes in my state), figured it was acceptable given the 1 owner, bought and serviced at the same dealership history, and now a 2 yr CPO.

did i do alright?

YES! I bought a similar car, similar spec, similar mileage and only 10 months of CPO remaining for $63k in January. Well done.

Exactly why I put a transferrable 4yr/60k warranty on my 2012.5 s when I bought it in October.
Figured it would put potential buyers at ease and help with resale vs. comparable cars out of warranty.
Anyone want to trade their 991.1 turbo for an S, pm me?

there are so many mistakes in their listings, you end up giving up after a few minutes of looking. congrats, though, that's a beauty at a nice price.

It's been ceramic coated and I've upgraded the taillights to clear. I am the second owner and this has a clean carfax. The passenger rear has been repainted by previous owner due to scratches, but all panels are original. The bumper has a tiny dent next to the driver rear taillight. Otherwise, the car is in great shape. Looking to sell it for 88K. PM me with any questions, thanks. Goign to take it to a broker soon and tats the price they offered. I just figured someone here could enjoy it instead of a broker.

Like we always request. VIN #, and type out details like miles, MSRP, and asking $ with pics. Some of these other listings above this post are ONLY links.

Like we've said 1,000 x before, links go dead and don't do anything for making the postings useful for future research. Look back at many of my postings or many other good ones for reference. We have found this invaluable already as we've tracked cars along their ownership history.

Thanks

Default Renncheck???

If anyone is near Renton,WA (about 20 min drive from Seattle or Bellevue) and can pop by the Renton Carmax to do a Renncheck on a car please let me know.

I will pay you for your efforts!!! PM me please.

It’s a 2017 carrera that I have on hold and thinking about transferring, but transfer fee to me is about $1,000 so ideally I’d get a sense on condition before I take the plunge and pay the $1K.

Thank you

Hey Tango,
I live in Seattle and can check this out for you this Friday. My buddy and I are dropping off his car at a shop for track prep. Renton would be on the way back!

Feel free to PM me any questions or details you'd like us to look over on the car!

not exactly buyers remorse but I was definitely eyeing this car WP0AB2A97DS121495 but it sat at a somewhat shady looking small dealer up in NYC. but of course after i close my deal it's on its way right down the street from me. loaded in options, including spasm, personally love the red interior, damage reported mark back in '16 on the carfax but autocheck is scored very highly. no price right now since it's in transit but here's the old listing where it's at $60k.

Considering giving up my 718 GT4 slot (assuming I get an allocation) and pursuing a 991.1 instead. I've got my eye on one at Mike Ward Maserati of Denver. It's a blank slate for me to modify. Thoughts on pricing?

  • Guards Red
  • 20,000 miles
  • 7-speed manual

I love that car! I been thinking about it also. My only hesitation is having to fix the front bumper license plate holes and there not being any cpo warranty.

Looks like the Manheim auction price was $55,500 on 2/15/19.
